WebChart EMR/EHR Software

WebChart is designed specifically for the needs of cardiologists. The standalone electronic medical records (EMR) system integrates with a number of different practice management systems via an HL7 interface. The program has been 2011/2012 ONC-ATCB certified by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT).

WebChart is pre-loaded with a number of different cardiology-specific templates. The program recognizes most interoperability standards and integrates directly with EKGs, echo cardiograms, Holter and stress test devices, RIS/PACS systems, and labs. WebChart was one of the first EMRs to achieve full PINNACLE registry certification, allowing cardiologists to integrate both data collection and submission with their practice workflow.

WebChart has retained its commitment to the Software-as-a-Service delivery model, providing a 100% web-based EMR that can be accessed from a web browser on a PC or Mac. It also can be run on mobile devices including Apple iPhones and iPads. The system requires only a flat monthly fee without upfront costs for hardware. WebChart is most often used by small and mid-sized practices ranging from 1 doctor to 25.

WebChart is developed and supported by Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Medical Informatics Engineering. The company was founded in 1995. Due to its focus on and popularity among cardiologists, we recommend WebChart to most cardiology practices looking for a standalone, web-based EMR.
