MedLedger Software

MedLedger is an electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system in one, singular software product. MedLedger is developed and supported by Health Data Services (HDS), a company that has focused on meeting the needs of small practices (1-10) since 1988. In addition to MedLedger, HDS offers its own claims clearinghouse and medical billing services. 

MedLedger provides a broad set of EHR modules, including clinical notes, custom templates, e-prescribing, medication management, allergy cross-checks, document imaging, lab integration, and a summary dashboard with critical practice performance metrics. HDS has developed specialty specific templates for family medicine, internal medicine, chiropractic, mental health, and ophthalmology. MedLedger EHR is ONC-ATCB Certified for 2011/2012. The system’s practice management application is robust, offering modules for patient scheduling, patient registration data, encounter management, claims management, billing and reporting.
