MicroFour, based in Amarillo, TX, offers an integrated suite of EHR, practice management and billing applications—PracticeStudioX16—which can be customized for any specialty, including cardiology, chiropractic, dermatology, family practice, urgent care and internal medicine practices. MicroFour has been working with providers to improve patient care, record accuracy and staff productivity for the past 25 years.

PracticeStudioX16 is certified for Meaningful Use Stage 2, is HIPAA-compliant and includes ICD-10 billing codes. A Meaningful Use certification dashboard is included, giving practices a clear view of their progress towards attesting for both stages. It was also recently named to Medical Economics’ 2014 list of the Top 50 EHR systems.

PracticeStudioX16 is laptop and tablet compatible to enable touch-screen charting. Its patient portal was designed to be accessible from mobile devices. Practitioners can choose between cloud-based or on-premise deployment. An online backup service is also available for an additional monthly fee based on the number of backups per month.
