The product provides an intuitive approach which is flexible yet powerful in its application. Vendor support is exceptional, particularly when paired with organizational clinical practice support. What is notable is, not only is the Nightingale Team focused on your practice's success, they will also work with you to help develop decision support tools and templates to provide better care to your patients. The product provides for multiple workflows which allows users of any experience level, from "basic" to "professional geek", to be comfortable with minimal orientation. And don't forget the User Group support---simply the best ever!
Statistical analysis of practice (financial/clinical), is not optimal.
Demos---particularly side-by-side comparisons are important. Due diligence is required---this is not like buying a car! Test drive them, ask questions. Follow a "test patient" through the various work flows. Review the quality/health maintenance reporting capabilities. EMR should facilitate care, make the job of healthcare easier and safer and more complete, with a minimum of extra effort and training!
