SequelMed EHR Software

Founded in 1995, SequelMed EHR is a fully-integrated electronic medical records, billing, and scheduling system. The software is capable of supporting a wide range of specialties, including chiropractic, Ob/Gyn, gastroenterology, podiatry, urology, and more. By centralizing all practice data in one system, healthcare providers and support staff are able to collaborate on all aspects of patient activity, including administrative, financial, and clinical.

SequelMed EHR can be sold as a complete electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) suite, or its EMR and PM modules can be sold as standalone applications to practices who don’t wish to replace existing systems. SequelMed EHR offers HL7 and DICOM interfaces to improve interoperability with imaging systems and medical devices. The system is versatile in its deployment, and can be installed on a server in the practice’s location or hosted by the vendor and accessed remotely over the web.

Value for Money

You get what you pay for.

Pros

Cheaper than some others. Not very responsive with support and seem to continue to have the same issues unresolved.

Cons

This product is not fully functional with an Ipad nor is it completely compatible with Dragon, although I was told differently by them before I decided to use their system. Purchased 3 Ipads for the office that are useless
