Best of Breed RIS

PROS

We have used RISynergy at our hospital for 13 years and have always been impressed by their ability to solve your needs. The product was developed by Radiology minded people. Swearingen has proven capable of interfacing with just about any EMR, PACs or modality. Their support has always been awesome. They do not dollar you to death. The software is capable of producing a large nmuber of useful reports on demand.

CONS

We currently use the installed client version, which is very stable. They have a web product that is near release, which may appeal to customers. Swearingen is a relatively small company. Some view this as a negative, however, it allows them to really focus on their customer base on a personal level.

Great product, easy to use. Wonderful customer service.

PROS

This product is user friendly. We have many people in our department that are not tech savvy and they love how easy it is to navigate. The customer support is the best. I never get a voicemail or have to wait on hold. Any issues that we have, which are usually very minor, are resolved in less than a few minutes. This product is by far one of the more stable systems in my department. We never experience any downtime.

CONS

There really isn't anything that I don't like about this product. It fits our needs in our Imaging department. The folks at Swearingen are very accommodating if you require any custom reports or features. They truly go above and beyond to make the product work for your individual needs.

Comprehensive package with strong customer support

PROS

The vendor offers more than a product. This is truly a partnership where we get to collaborate and develop the software to meet our preferences and ultimately support a positive patient experience. The Swearingen team welcomes ideas for improvement and is capable of making customized enhancements to fit unique workflow challenges.

CONS

We are excited about the future of the Swearingen product line which includes a "web version". We hope this is something that will be ready soon.
