Derek Singleton is the Product Manager for internal applications at Software Advice. Derek joined the company after graduating from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. He began as a Managing Editor in the marketing department, creating content related to the CRM software market and reporting on business-to-business (B2B) marketing technologies, topics and trends.

Derek’s work has appeared in publications such as IncCIO, The New York Times, Huffington Post as well a variety of tech publications, including Sandhill, SYS-CON and ZDNet.

When he's not at work, Derek can be found at one of Austin's live music venues or one of the area's lakes. He also enjoys training in martial arts, which he's been involved in for the last 20 years. And a little known fact: Derek can cook Minute Rice in 58 seconds.
