dapulse is a cloud-based project management solution best suited for small to midsize organizations. With this solution, all project members can see project achievements and details.

dapulse provides a collaborative envirnment that allows project members to communicate, create a knowledge base, share files, images, designs and other specifications.

dapulse can be integrated with other tools, such as email, Google Drive, Dropbox, Pipedrive, Google Calendar, JIRA, MailChimp and others. Other features include sharing specific information with external guests, such as clients or freelancers.

dapulse uses the REST JSON API. This API lets users handle cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) requests. Developers can customize dapulse according to the needs of their organization.

Really worth a try; we use it to manage all team projects and love it.

Pros

Easy to learn and use. Intuitive, cloud-based and collaborative. Looking to kick Prince2/ Waterfall's a**.

Cons

Some incongurence in the UI, but done is better than perfect. So powerful it can take a little time to ramp-up/ set-up best practices.

I use this product to visually update my clients as to the status of their projects. It is very visual and can still be exported to Excel for further reporting and analysis.

Likes Least

There have been a few major enhancements that have been slow coming to market.

Recommendations

Look at this product as a way to collaboratively track your projects status. Use it at a level of detail that is practical for others follow. This is not a substitute for MS Project but much more efficient than a spreadsheet

Allowed us to track projects across organization, while working with the fact that every sub-team had different needs.

Pros

That it uses a simple row and column metaphor in its design. Anyone who is familiar with Excel will find this very natural. We needed a system that allowed us to manage projects across our organization -- this was the only one that didn't drown us in complexity and felt very natural. No training needed -- things are pretty much where you'd expect them to be.

Cons

It would be nice to have an aggregated view across all projects, but I also understand that is quite hard to do as meaning is defined by the user.

My favorite thing about daPulse is it's ability to replace other goal tracking systems, like SuccessFactors (which I STRONGLY dislike). Every employee needs to be accountable to their department and projects. daPulse has found a great common ground for teams and their supervisors to work together with greater transparency and better organization. Their instructional videos are very helpful and easily walk you through how to use their software. Plus, everything is pretty customizable and fluid. There's almost no learning curve because the interface is very intuitive and simple to pick up. If you have many projects, many people, and many moving parts for projects, daPulse is a fantastic way to keep everyone on the same page. It's your home-base. It's easy to do check ins, attach important files and docs, manage the timelines and processes of projects, assign different stages of a project to different employees, check off when something is complete, better time manage various projects and see just how long certain tasks are taking compared to others, and in general save you time and energy by not sending out a million emails or risk losing anything important in the shuffle. I highly recommend daPulse as a great tool for any company, large or small, to better manage their day-to-day as well as their long-term projects and goals.

I'm a very visual learner & interpreter of my work flows and job tasks. I'm a fan of Trello for website development & personal life management including some team management tasks, but the structure & layout for all the content that you will input on a daily, hourly and weekly basis can be better presented for quicker reading & task interpretation (Including priorities & task date deadlines & gantt calendar).

This is where DaPulse comes in. It's provides all the above and is visually readable for anyone in my team.

A Group can be a Department and in each Group, you create Pulses (Tasks) which can then have sub-tasks assigned to them.

It's an messenger tool for in-house teams & easy to on-board every member of the team.

100% Worth your time & it integrates with Slack, Trello & Zapier.

Dapulse skates that line between usable and generic in a way that makes look like a stumbling toddler. Use what features you want, and throw the rest away. Want points? You got em. Want a bug-board? Customize it for it's own root cause column.

Everyone has their own quirks to agile/scrum/kanban - dapulse has thus far been able to accommodate mine. It makes you feel like you invented a new form of agile with the flexibility of its boards.

Two things that may be deal breakers:
- No push events on boards (as of Apr 2017).
- You can't say its name without sounding dumb.

"Customer Support" category 5/5 due to never needing it.

We spent months as an organization searching for a Project Management platform to support our growing (yet still very small) organization of currently 7 people better execute and organize our projects. Being a non-profit, with many people wearing many hats, it was necessary to find a platform not so rigid in its structure that the interchangeability of tasks and responsibilities is not practically visualizable. Dapulse makes assigning duties to multiple people, and moving tasks or projects between boards and people a breeze, and confusion is so far uncommon.

The flexibility can be daunting at first (so I took the time to write a guide of general practices and protocols for usage that fits my org's structure, providing p) in order to provide a template for usage that minimizes the initial hesitation that people face when presented with the sheer number of options available for structuring the organization of their project boards. And once people are using it, they find it enjoyable and rewarding that they don't need much in the way of prodding as Dapulse makes its value clear as communication improves, efficiency grows, and tasks reach completion without the usual stop-gaps that disparate email chains and searching for files in an over-encumbered (and probably poorly organized Dropbox) usually create.

I am a loud and proud Dapulse evangelist and addict at my organization and am slowly turning everyone else into one too!
