Glip can be used as a workspace for assigning tasks, sharing files, sending and receiving messages and scheduling deadlines. Glip can be used as a central platform for project management and team communication, and it also allows users to manage files and communication from multiple sources through integrations with programs such as Asana, GitHub, Salesforce, MailChimp, Jira, Box and more.

Being able to keep track of information in one place. And you can go back to it later.. instead of emailing yourself or texting people.. that stuff gets lost.
The 3 'tier' system. You can click on a task and have a conversation only about that task.. it will appear in the 3rd tier... or the 'shelf'. You can copy images very fast and paste them right in a conversation.
It has a bit of a learning curve. It works best if you design it for YOU. For example.. 'TEAMS'.. Can be anything. At first, you try to make a team of people... but I decided to just make it the main topic or subject. Then, Under that TEAM.. I could make a task, event... etc.

Glip is a great product but it's so similar to Slack I wonder if they are rebranding Slack? Much like Slack you can create channels and chat with members in your organization and it works great for company collaboration. I like that you can setup private chat channels to discuss issues with company employees without sharing that info with everyone. It's great that you can search previous chats and find conversations that took place in the past.

It's basically Slack and Slack has a much larger market share. I wonder if Glip can break through?

If you need a messaging platform for the office that does more than just let you send and receive messages then Glip may be what your are looking for. We needed a way to communicate back and forth but also a way to send tasks to each other and follow up with different projects. The cool thing about Glip is that it also ties into other programs with their integrations, such as Trello.

I have used all of the PM tools on the market including Asana, Basecamp, Slack, etc. Glip works just fine for most communications, but I have yet to find a solution that eliminates internal emails. To me, most of these tools, Glip included, just adds another place to go for information. I am a Google user, and my computer relies on Google for most of our software and communications. That said, I feel that Glip, like Slack and others, is just another tool for communications. Find one you like and use it. Now that Glip is part of RingCentral, they are starting to have better connectivity between the two, but without dedicated utility training and advice, I don't know how long that is going to last.

I have been using Glip for 3 months and it has made my biz life easier and better . I love it soo much. You can invite your co-workers or employees to work or chat about specific tasks. It make things organized in your company. The best part it is free but has also some paid plans. The free plan is more than enough for me. It has everything. If you are working on tasks or projects that involves graphics. you can use Glip feature that can make it possible to make comments on the graphics you share on it.

1-The issue with inviting guests is that I can not make them invisible for my other co-workers.

Ring Central provides an answer for my business' rather simple needs. A toll free line that is always forwarded to my cell phone and a way to distinguish incoming calls from the tool free number from incoming calls to my cell number. I do not have a need for the high level of capabilities the system offers but occasionally I have a problem I can't figure out. The representatives have been able to quickly understand what my problems have been and have been able to resolve them while I am on the line with them. I'm really pleased.
