For design and construction companies seeking more successful collaboration and project management, Newforma Project Cloud provides a comprehensive, web-based platform speed turnaround times, reduce disputes, and improve quality in the field.
One of Newforma Project Cloud’s key features is its powerful submittal and RFI management capabilities. Users can process submittals in as few as three clicks. When ready to forward an RFI, the software automatically provides a list of predefined recipients, ensuring all necessary team members remain in the loop. The design team receives weekly automated to-do lists and reminders of action items based on the week's RFIs and submittals.
Newforma Project Cloud effectively tracks the version numbers of all uploaded documents, and as these documents move through the approvals process, it includes the author information and a timestamp. At any time, users can log in and see the status of any document in realtime.
Newforma Project Cloud centralizes all pertinent information from the design, construction, and owner teams, capturing a complete project history that can be downloaded at the project’s close. The platform's web-hosted markup tools notify users when documents have been redlined, or when another user adds comments. In many cases, Newforma Project Cloud can be implemented and used in a day. The software integrates with Newforma mobile apps, allowing users to view plans on their iPads, capture field information, and oversee field tasks such as punch lists and work to complete. It’s a complete solution for collaborative project management.

It manages email REALLY well. We also like it for RFIs and submittals. If it had better modules for meeting minutes and PCOs and Pay-Apps, we could abandon Prolog. Unfortunately, we are compelled to use both until Newforma catches up on modules relevant to construction administration.

The mobile apps were weak the last time I tried them.
Get everyone in the organization on board, otherwise, there will be two camps. Users and non-users. The users will achieve great benefit, the non-users will just frustrate the users.
