WorkZone pairs sophisticated tools with an intuitive interface to offer an extremely powerful project management solution that’s accessible to less technical users. Their full suite of integrated applications also offers document management, project collaboration, customizable reporting, resource and task management, and time tracking. The software is web-based, with automated emailed reports that keep everyone up to date on project status in real time.
WorkZone excels in providing project information at various levels of detail, to accommodate different user roles on the project. Senior managers will love the cross-project summaries that give organization-wide visibility to projects and resources. Tactical project managers use the automated project to-do lists to see at a glance what’s next on each project. Individual contributors get personalized to-do lists online and via email that keep them on point and let them update tasks quickly.
We really like the feature that links dependent tasks; it uses a specific task’s end date to calculate the following task’s start date. They’re a great fit for projects with tasks that follow a set sequence. WorkZone automatically notifies the next party downstream when the dependent task is completed. Project templates allow for quick creation of projects that are done frequently.
WorkZone also includes secure web-based file sharing and collaboration. Users can manage multiple versions of documents, with different user roles and file permissions controlling who sees what. The online collaboration module is great for creative review; users can mark up images or PDFs and approve documents online, and WorkZone keeps a permanent copy on file.
WorkZone has been providing project management software in the industry for over a decade. We recommend them to companies managing various projects or clients, who need sophisticated, yet easy-to-use tools that help them stay organized with multiple views and automated alerts.

The versatility and ability to track multiple projects whether they are day-to-day or if they are long term projects.
There isn't a free demo to try. Other than that, everything from the initial demo and implementation went really well.
This is one of the best project management software that I have found. I compared Liquid Planner, Wrike, Basecamp, and Mindjet. For the price, support, and functionality, Workzone was definitely a cut above the rest. We are a company of 160+ employees and everyone from management to the basic user has expressed excitement over this product as well as a fast user adaptability.
