The solution delivers financial, operational and business intelligence capabilities specifically designed for property owners, property managers and investors. Users have the option to manage data as an on-premise solution or in the cloud, and it’s designed to provide access via any device.
The Infor Property Management integrated suite includes functionality to manage property accounting, investment and development management, tenant and lease information, and building maintenance over time. The accounting module delivers analytics and visibility into all aspects of general ledger, AP and AR, budgeting, forecasting, gain/loss analysis, and payroll out-of-the-box.
Using the tenant and lease management module, users can target specific tenants as well as ensure lead tracking, insurance tracking, online payments and document management. Other features include tracking building maintenance, work orders, inventory tracking, purchase orders and mobile support.

I called twice and spoke to two different people at Infor. Neither even knew what program I was referring to. I was told to contact my property management company if I had questions. The first time I assumed I must have made a mistake and dialed the wrong number. The second time I realized AMSI must not be this company's primary product.
The color scheme is nice. PDF reports look good. Home screen is laid out nicely with some ability to customize.
Too little information on each screen, meaning you have to click through a number of screens to both enter and access the information you need. Excel reports are formatted in a complicated way making it difficult to export (lots of unmerging, copy and pasting into more logical places, etc). List of residents includes everyone who has ever been leased an apartment (even though who canceled) making it cumbersome to find the resident you're looking for. No easy wait to wait list someone who is actively looking to move in but waiting for availability; system requires you to assign an apartment when you enter the application. Staff struggle to learn the software - it's not intuitive. No document storage or online lease. Customer service was not helpful.

I have been using AMSI products for close to 20 years. From the old DOS version to the Windows version - and now Evolution, which is Internet based - AMSI has provided us what we need. It is very easy to use.
The technical support people are top notch and respond to me quickly and with simple solutions to my problems. Also, our Account Rep holds local AMSI User Group get-togethers, which are a fun and informative way to meet other AMSI users and learn new things both from AMSI and from each other. I am the in-house AMSI support person for my company, which owns and manages seventeen residential and office buildings. I work from home to be with my kids, so the ability to access everything I need since it is online has been the best feature for me.
My background is in accounting, so I appreciate the various reports I can print that point out data entry errors and items that need to be corrected. Making corrections/changes is easy too. There are so many reports that come with the various applications, so there is a lot to choose from when selecting the reports for your staff or managers to utilize. All in all, I have been - and continue to be - a big fan of AMSI.

I love AMSI. Each year, I look forward to the product updates and the annual user conference.
The staff both in the support and development departments are knowledge and helpful. I have yet to have a major issue, and the minor issues have been resolved in hours in most cases.
I think the one thing that sets AMSI apart from other property management software companies is the personal attention that the sales staff and account managers give to each account. My sales representative makes it his job to visit the West Coast clients as often as we need. He re-established our user group and will always put us in touch with the right people if he doesn't have the answer.
I have no plans on switching software and will continue to support the growth and development of future AMSI products.

The company I work for appreciates the customizable features of AMSI. We often want special reporting, and AMSI can sometimes make it happen.
We wanted a program that can handle everything in one place. AMSI gets close and is open to feedback.
The biggest issue we have is when we need to upgrade. Because we self-host, we often go long periods of not upgrading. When we do, there are growing pains and additional expenses to upgrading custom reports. We do have word that a recent update will solve some of these issues. We just haven't been able to coordinate with our IT person and the budget to move forward with the update.
Infor is trying to make support easier. The various levels of urgency you can attach to requests is helpful. The problem we run into is that we wait for someone to call us, and often it is not convenient for the on-site associates. It would be helpful if there was more immediate assistance.
Our direct account manager, Patrick, is fantastic! He always works with requests and concerns to try and resolve quickly. He also keeps us informed on new and exciting changes and training opportunities.
