By automating and organizing a recruiter’s daily workflow, Big Biller allows users to focus specifically on the tasks required to secure a hire. 

Big Biller was designed around a three-step system for fast data entry and quick, accurate searches. This powerful recruiting package comes with unique set of features and tools specific to the industry. Resumes can be emailed directly into the system. From there, the Premium Parser extracts all relevant information from the resume to create a candidate profile - eliminating any manual entry. The Contact Import Wizard imports Excel spreadsheets or .csv files into the database instantly. 

Once everything is uploaded into Big Biller, searching for candidates records, resumes, and documents is simple and fast. The system supports email marketing capabilities that can be targeted towards clients about their hiring needs or candidates about their job search. Big Biller also gives recruiters complete visibility of where candidates are in their pipeline and how quickly they’re moving along. We really like the Hotlist feature that tags groups and lists of people, companies, and jobs for quick reference. 

Big Biller is also web-based, so it’s affordable and flexible, making it a great option for any recruiting professional.

As the principal of a boutique Sale Recruiting firm using Big Biller for about a year now, we've found it a great value and more than adequate for our needs. We still have more to learn about using it to the fullest but it has been very good for us. Content entry is easy, the search function is great and the customer support & training from Top Echelon has exceeded my expectations.

Pros

Cons

Set up & ramp up would have been been better if we had worked more closely with their staff, but it was very intuitive and easy to use.

Advice to Others

When starting with the package, be patient & review the all video training sessions first. It will ultimately save you time in the long run. But it was so easy to use it is tempting to skip right into daily usage.

Overall good system for the money, couple features I'm not a fan of, but overall its been great

Pros

inexpensive; lots of customer service support through the system, online and on the phone; great resume parsing.

Cons

lots of extra steps needed to link emails to the Big Biller notes system. Poor at Parsing Company info.

The Big Biller software works REALLY well. The customer service is excellent.

It looks and feels antiquated when compared to other ATS's.

Big Biller is super easy and functional. E-mail parsing is simple and fast. It works perfectly for our small recruiting team. It helps keep us organized and efficient. I wish we had found it sooner!

Pros

Easy to use and simple to learn. Great customer service, with weekly training and individual help if needed.

Cons

Big Biller has been a game changer for our recruiting team. We knew after a week into the free trial that this was the system for us. It has streamlined our process and increased our efficiency and productivity. The simple email parsing saves us hours of data entry time. We love the ease of use with multiple recruiters. The activity calendars help us keep track of our candidate interviews while the pipeline makes it so easy to follow them through the entire process.
We thought that because we were a smaller company, we wouldn't be able to afford recruiting software. But we were wrong, Big Biller is so affordable. It was an added bonus that the training and customer service is outstanding!

Pros

So easy to learn and use. We loved being able to "test drive" the system with a 30 day trial.

Cons

I wish that the pipeline page would automatically open to the candidate, rather than having to scroll to find them. Or that you could change the pipeline status straight from the pop up in the candidate file.

Advice to Others

With a free 30 day trial, what do you have to loose? Try it out, you'll love it!

This is a very easy to use, functional, and sound recruiting tool. The user interface is easy to navigate. There are other software Solutions out there that are much more robust in features and capabilities. However, if you are a small recruiting agency this software will more than fit your needs.

Our recruiting firm demoed 4 software systems, including Big Biller. This was probably the one that we like the least.

Pros

Monthly subscription service

Cons

Front-office solution only; does not have a connection to QuickBooks. Online group training with others; not individualized. Difficult resume parsing--have to forward the resume in order to parse; can only parse up to 20 resumes at a time. Does not have the ability to link calendars with interviews, meetings, etc. Advertising options not included--a separate cost. Additional fees for storage (not cloud-based). Everything was "a la carte"--when we added all services together, it was one of the most expensive options.

Big Biller offers a very user-friendly interface. It is easy to navigate the UI. There are other software options out there that provide a much more robust platform. However, what Big Biller lacks in extras, it more than makes up for in customer support. Big Biller offers a very sound and functional recruiting software that will fit most recruiting firms needs.

Great processes and easy to use. Tracking the candidates progress and client feedback, has never been so easy. FAST and easy is the best way to describe Big Biller. I don't have time to document and with one click it goes into every file I need to post an activity to. And, the ongoing training they offer, is up to date and on point. I have learned allot about the trends and where the recruiting industry is heading.

On the job order, sometimes you have two to three hiring managers you need to review a candidate for a department. And, it only allows you to enter one email contact on job order. So, you have to remember who else has to have a Cc resume on the candidate you are submitting job for. Wish they could add button to add more hiring managers for job order.

Cost effective, well designed with the recruiter in mind and most of all fast and easy to use.

advertising directly from site, clean interfaces, email templates, effective parsing is always accurate, pricing is excellent, support team is excellent as well. Entering new candidates is easy, classifying them is also easy and the fact that it is easy makes it more likely that it is going to happen. Many CRMs I have used repel one from using them as they are clunky and inefficient. I like that one doesn't have to enter information in multiple places.

I would like this product even more if it were integrated with GMAIL. At current, it only sycns with OUTLOOK. I am a google based shop and emails not being captured in the tool makes for a bit of a nuisance.

Recommendations

I tried to WING it and found that I needed the training, even though I have a lot of experience with CRM products. Every product has it's own little bits and pieces that are unique. Sign up for the training! It's useful!

I have worked with Top Echelon in the past. Although I did not purchase the product because I use another software at this time, I have used other products. The company is very customer friendly and explain how to use product.

I am using another product and did not see a reason to leave the product I have but like the idea that you can share candidates if you are part of the Top Echelon network.

Recommendations

Try some of the top software first and see which one fits your interests. Each software and plus and minuses and it depends on the your interest and needs.

During my free trial, I found Big Biller to be very easy to use and experienced no hassle in setting up a free trial. Adding contact information was seamless and was very intuitive for me. The pricing is inexpensive considering all the features you get. My experience was positive.

I decided not to go with Big Biller largely because the back office solution they offered with contract placement would not allow, for liability reasons, some of the types of contract placements that I would like to make in the future.

Recommendations

Looks at many options and don't assume the most expensive option is the best option. It often isn't.

Very easy to navigate through and understand and employees are very helpful and there to offer assistance immediately.

Some of the searches...I am not sure if it filters through and provides us with all of the candidates that we require from a specific search, I am weary that some critical candidates are missed. Also, don't like how Big Biller doesn't accept duplicate resumes. For example, if we send Jane Doe again, it bounces back, however, Jane Doe may have an updated resume that we would rather include. I think it should accept the duplicate and attach it to the profile already in Big Biller.

Web based, easy to use and fairly inexpensive. They offer a lot of training.

Support is spotty at best. No calendar integration so you have to dual entry into BB planner and your calendar. The mobile site does allow access to planner.

Recommendations

Margjnal product with spotty support. Pay specific attention to the shortcomings of the planner integration with calendaring function. Be aware the mobile site does not allow access to planner.
