Talent Rover is a fully mobile, cloud-based solution built on the Salesforce 1 platform. It can integrate with various social media platforms.

Talent Rover combines an applicant tracking system (ATS) with customer relationship management (CRM), shift scheduling, human resources and benefits administration (HRIS), compliance management, online timesheets and expense reports and invoicing.

The system also offers integrated accounting software and branded communities.

Talent Rover is offered in 20+ languages and supports over 100 currencies. It can adapt to local labor regulations and support firms of any size.

Our organization looked to switch ATS providers after being frustrated with our current vendor for some time. After much due diligence and research we decided upon Talent Rover for several reasons; customization, cloud-based, mobile capabilities, built specifically for the staffing industry and sits on top of the Salesforce platform. We were provided with an Implementation Teal Lead who took the time to understand our needs, workflows, processes, vernacular and key performance metrics for reporting and dashboards. Talent Rover’s personable approach to working with us made a huge difference in getting the application configured and customized to our specifications. After having used the tool for a few months now I believe it should be the Gold standard for which other applications are judged. The work flows are logical and intuitive and having this tool in our environment has truly helped our team be more productive – which should be the goal of any ATS application. I would highly recommend Talent Rover to any company seeking a better solution.

I give talent Rover high marks across the board. If I were being picking I would say they have experienced strong growth since their inception nearly 4 year ago. Perhaps having the internal talent to keep up with the demand for their product would be an area of opportunity for them.

Recommendations

Look at everything out there; Bullhorn, Bond, PCRecruiter, ICIMs or whatever and then test drive Talent Rover. I am confident you'll see their slick design, cloud-based architecture and mobile capabilities as being superior to everything else out there. Look, see, test and pick.

In 15 years as a recruiter who became an agency owner, Talent Rover is the third ATS/CRM I have used. It has the best functionality, communications, and reporting I have seen. Because it is built on the Salesforce platform, my recruiters and staff love it. The mobile app puts all the details of my business right in the palms of our hands.

Talent Rover has a premium price tag, but you GET what you pay for. I'd rather have a top-notch cutting edge cloud-based fully functional consistently-upgrading report-generating software that costs a few more bucks. The less expensive ATS/CRM's never satisfied me, and they slowed down my recruiters.

Recommendations

Check references!! Most providers do not have solid migration and implementation plans, and they just want to sell you, sign you, and move on to the next sale. Talent Rover's migration and training teams made the transition enjoyable (seriously). Their tech team worked well with my web designer for our unique API interface. After launch, they were quick to respond and resolve the miscellaneous issues that always come up. They didn't nickel and dime us for every call.

Our Account Executive has prior recruiting experience and was very familiar with our needs and was able to clearly demonstrate how Talent Rover would add value to our firm. The implementation process went extremely smooth due to the TR implementation team being extremely responsive and thorough in understanding our legacy system data and requirements. Implementations are notoriously painful, so this is something prospective clients should seriously consider when selecting an ATS. There are a lot of things I love about Talent Rover and could go on and on about all the features but that can all be clearly shown in a demo. What can't be demonstrated in a demo is the way you will be treated after you sign up. Talent Rover has continued to be extremely responsive and eager to help whenever I have a question or need support. Our Account Executive is as responsive now as he was before we signed up. The support team has gone above & beyond to provide a wonderful experience for me and our team.

Daxtra Search is excellent, and so are list view searches, but it would be nice if there was an easy way to do detailed searches on the entire database from one location. Daxtra on searches contacts with resumes attached, list views allows for much more refined searching based on fields within Talent Rover, but neither is complete.

Recommendations

Don't underestimate the importance of Talent Rover's experience with converting your data from legacy system. They made sure we were up and running day one and were extremely responsive along the way to issues that arose. Talent Rover customer service is also excellent. A lot of ATS's have great features but don't under estimate the importance of having experts on call that can help you utilize the tool when you have questions or make customizations to the system to suit your individual firm's needs.

After a thorough review of multiple ATS/CRM applications our firm selected Talent Rover as our vendor of choice. During the sales process most vendors attempt to do their best in terms of demonstrating the capabilities, features and benefits of their systems. For us, Talent Rover stood out as the obvious choice. Since making the decision to purchase and implement their highly customizable and configurable application in September of 2014 our due diligence has been rewarded. In my opinion Talent Rover has proven to be the best platform I’ve had the opportunity to use in my 19 year career. The workflows are logical and given the available customization we’ve been able dial in the application to fit our exact requirements. Throughout the implementation process the Talent Rover team was responsive and worked with us on multiple occasions on tweaking the system to meet our changing requirements. Their post implementation support has been responsive and they typically close out tickets in short order. I humbly give my personal and professional endorsement of their product and would highly recommend any firm, large or small, to seriously consider their platform. You will not be disappointed.

We were one of, if the not the, first customers for TalentRover, and they have always treated us that way. They go above and beyond what we need and always take the time to come in and consult with us. They have built out specific tools, like Candidate Manager, to help with our specific workflows, and find the most efficient and cost effective way for us to get the most out of the tool. Things like Daxtra Search and the ease of use in Salesforce has made our database so much stronger and our data so much cleaner. I would highly recommend this tool for any recruiting organization!

The limitations of Salesforce are the only thing I don't like, but sitting on top of Salesforce has its huge advantages as well.

Recommendations

Dig in, and use the teams expertise to get exactly what you want. Every recruiting company/team is different, so explain what you want, and they are good at being consultative and figuring out what is the best solution.

I've used a good number of Applicant Tracking Systems over the years but TalentRover is definitely my favorite so far. Out of the box it works well but the real key here for me is that you can customize things to a great extent.

As it was my first time using Salesforce there is a bit to learn (this is not related to TR but more so to Salesforce), especially when you get into customizations, reporting and dashboards, but there is a lot you can get out of this. On top of this you can use all the apps and extensions in the SFDC exchange and really integrate with other software that you might use. We have completely integrated Salesforce and Gmail and sync our calendars and directly track into Salesforce straight from Gmail.

There are several teams that have built an ATS on top of the SFDC platform but TalentRover is by far the most personable and their customer service is top notch. Good group of people led by a great CEO. Highly recommend!

Nothing not to like. All my interactions have been very pleasant and even though my team is small compared some of the bigger clients TR has, I've also felt extremely valued as a customer. Whenever I need something done the team is there and takes swift action.

Recommendations

I looked at proprietary solutions as well as ones built on other platforms and the power of Salesforce combined with the customizations of Talent Rover are a winning team that is also highly scalable.
