The Consignment Shop Software


 

Established in 1999, The Consignment Shop by SBS Solutions was developed for small to mid-sized consignment businesses in a variety of segments such as jewelry, furniture, books, apparel and more. The system offers a suite of tools that includes point of sale, e-commerce, inventory, and customer management.

On of the features offered in The Consignment Shop’s software suite is the ability to integrate with a store's website in real time, allowing for inventory to be listed, tracked and sold both on the web and in the brick and mortar store. The web store can be customized and payment can be made through different platforms like PayPal and Google.

This system supports both on-premise and web-based deployment and can be used on Mac and Windows devices. SBS Solutions offers support via telephone, email, and an online resource page. The Consignment Shop can integrate with Quickbooks for accounting purposes, and MerchantWare Services for credit card processing.

I love how easy and uncomplicated the software is. The customer service is by far hands down the best that I have had in a long time.

The product is very easy to use and does everything you need it to do, plus lots more! The support team and very helpful, have never let us down if we needed a question answered on something tweaked and their response time is brilliant (and that's with a 5 hour difference in time zones)

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. You won't be disappointed you teamed up with this great company.

Recommendations

Touch of the button reporting is nice, just select the report information, the date range and hit the button. It's all right there.

I absolutely made the BEST decision when I chose SBS Solutions for my consignment software...that is the 100% truth. It's easy to navigate and the reports are what really helps me. I've had to call John several times when I accidentally disconnected my computer and every time he walks us through connecting it again with such patience and ease.

I recommend this software to anyone who wants to open their own consignment shop. I'm very fortunate to have made this selection!!

I love this product and vendor as they are on hand 24/7 if you need any help. They give you training at the beginning in how to use their product and its SO simple, it just makes sense. I am not computer savvy, but they teach you and they are patient and kind and help you EVERY step of the way, even if you need extra help. They go out of their way to make it work for you and there is nothing they wouldn't do to help you be a success. They feel like family now. I felt the product was/is very much a quality product and I was really impressed when the cash drawer came in that it was really sturdy and strong. I had expeced a much lower quality as the ones I had looked at at the stores were very cheaply made. This was a quality product and so was the scanner and printers that came with it. Very pleased with everything!

Before I started my business I went to many different shops around the Hawaiian Islands and on the mainland checking out what software they were using. I talked to store owners and asked what they would recommend. After getting a few names and critisims I was able to narrow it down to 3 that sounded good. Then I went online and checked them out for myself and read the reviews. It came down to this one. All the reviews were positive and mentioned the 24/7 help, and the biggest thing for me was getting the help I needed as I have a brain injury and was afraid I would be stuck with a program that was too difficult or that I couldn't remember how to use. I knew I would need help along the way. They have helped me grow my business and made it easy! I refer them to all my consignor friends I meet along the way now.
