It is a very eliable solution using premises server. Runs on MS Windows instead of requiring IOS.
Hardware isn't as expensive and less costly monthly vs high licensing or hosting fees
Ours is not wireless tablets. Would like wireless tablets and card swipe at the table.

It may have worked great in the day (1990's) but is out dated.
Our hardware and software is out dated, and needs to be revamped.
Incorporate a POS system that utilizes an app based POS software, so it can be updated as need be.

I cant think of anything I like about Maitre D' that you can not get from any POS.
Back office program is not user friendly, hard to make changes without calling maitre D'. I also have a hard time getting a response from tech support.
Keep looking, if you decide to go with Maitre D' get as much training as possible.

Maitre'D can do a lot to help a restaurant be successful: inventory, time and attendance, accounting, scheduling, and real time reporting.
They are a great company and have been around to help and support for many years.
What always matters most with any POS purchase is knowing what kind of service you will receive after the initial installation.
