SoftTouch POS is a comprehensive system that is ideal for bars, nightclubs and restaurants of all sizes. It delivers on-premise, standalone point of sale functionality for table-service, quick-service restaurants (QSRs), delivery/takeout and more.

The solution's customizable floor plan helps users manage dining tables. Tip pooling and tip disbursement are fully integrated into the cash management feature.

SoftTouch is compatible with all handheld devices and tablets (including the iPad), and it is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. This feature allows for tableside ordering, and even customer self-service.

Cloud-based services include online ordering, a remote dashboard, multi-store gift/loyalty programs and mobile reporting.

SoftTouch is PCI compliant and PA-DSS validated by the PCI Security Standards Council.

I chose this software two years ago and wish I had done more research. My employees dislike it as well. Functionality, ease of use, printed tickets are difficult to read. Back office functionality is even worse!!

Pros

Customer Service is friendly and helpful but I am paying a hefty price monthly for this service.

Cons

Everything else! Difficult and time consuming to set up(they program it with a very generic menu and I had to spend hours updating. Functions like delivery zones by mikes are not customizable. Caller ID should be able to bring up customer automatically. Every feature seems to be several steps.
