Datascan’s Winpharm is a pharmacy management solution for independent retail pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, outpatient pharmacies, doctors, dispensaries and long-term care management businesses. With this system, users can manage the needs of their facilities on a daily basis.

Winpharm is capable of automatic refill processing, medication therapy management, coupon management, document management and communication via text, email, app and interactive voice response (IVR).

The solution comes with an automated scheduler, which automates task to-do lists for daily duties and follow ups. Winpharm provides options to customize the workflow of processes, such as the use of intake stations, data entry, evaluating verification needs and more.

Winpharm features a full built-in verification module, the ability to synchronize customers with POS software, the ability to scan and store hard copies of documents, single and multi-user system support, the ability to find and add new drugs, a national doctor database, web-based refills and more.

I HAVE USED THIS SYSTEM FOR OVER TEN YEARS. IT IS NOT EASY TO LEARN, BUT I WOULD NOT SWITCH TO ANY OTHER SYSTEM. IT CONTAINS EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR ACCURATE BILLING, WHICH IS MOST IMPORTANT. IT DOESN'T FREEZE OR CRASH, NO DATA IS EVER LOST. TECH SUPPORT IS VERY GOOD.

Program is very easy to use. We have pharmacy interns rotate from the local university and they are able to learn the system within 5 days of working with it. Customer service is top of the line. I have worked on different systems and found datascan to be a little behind in offering/implementing new technology. datascan does keep current with new regulations and legal issues but they are sometimes slow in getting it out to the users.

their customer service is supreme. we recently had an issue and they were on top of it and currently continue to monitor our situation.
