Timely is a cloud-based appointment scheduling software solution. It caters to individual professionals and small and midsize businesses, including beauty salons, hair salons, health clinics, massage therapists and personal trainers.

Users can run their appointment schedules from anywhere, generate reports and send notifications and reminders. Features include calendar management, which lets users book or rebook appointments, initiate group bookings and classes, manage recurring bookings and add multiple activities to a single booking.

Timely enables customers to book their tickets online through links embedded in websites or through Facebook. It offers sales and marketing support and reporting features.

This product also offers automated SMS and email reminders, and securely stores customer data including personal details, booking, emails, sales and other notes.

Timely offers integration with third-party applications such as Google Calendar, MailChimp, Xero, ZVend and MYOB.

It was great, very easy to use. With all differing time recording apps and services I have tried. This definitely is the best so far!

Cons

I don't know if it there is any, but I don't see a support number if I need any help. I don't have any problem at the moment, but when I do it would be helpful if I could call support.

very easy to add users and information. easy to add booking buttons to websites. user friendly for both users and buttons looking to scheduling online appointments.

Cons

cannot call support, cannot have different time zones for different calendars, no app for android, have to pay extra for text alerts for new appointments

Cons

A nearly flawless scheduling solution at an unbeatable price. Great value.

Pros

Timely is an amazing scheduling solution for a broad range of customer needs. An attractive interface and easy-to-navigate platform provide users a seamless experience. Capable reporting features are included, direct online scheduling can be embedded on a personal/business website, and integration with payment processors e.g. Stripe etc. is quite simple.

Cons

The platform has been slow once or twice, but nothing completely out of the norm.

You can't go wrong with Timely. It does exactly what you need it to do. The features are great, too. I like the reminders, as well as the fact that you can check the calendar on the go from your mobile device. This is appointment booking made easy. You don't have to be a tech-person to use it either. If you're just getting started, or you've been in business for year, Timely can streamline your reception costs and help you stay organized and efficient. If your business works on appointments, you need Timely.

I do my booking ,client reminders

Pros

Easy to use ,not complicated, self explanatory, I am not a savvy computer person,but I find Timely so easy and straight forward to use that I got used to it in a ver short time without having "anxiety attack"LOL

Cons

I wish I can write a comment on the booking line, eg. When I clicke the service ,like to write a comment if needed as a reminder to do prepare something specific for that client

As I am a very small 2 person business, I love the freedom from answering the phone; I'm rarely interrupted while cutting clients' hair as most bookings are done via the Timely App; resulting in more quality time with the client in the chair.

Cons

I am still a very new business starting from scratch; I like least the fact that 'anyone' can see whilst looking for an available time, a quiet day with appointments, but I am still just building my client base and that will change.

The GUI and the online booking are fab, especially how I can control which time slots show up for my clients. Love the gift card functionality also.

Cons

The reports need work... can't filter/sort on screen and downloading to a .csi ends up messy. Would also like to be able to customise the design of the invoice and gift cards.

We have heard from people that have had trouble with some companies that get their bookings mixed up or double book clients. With Timely we spend the minimum time on booking clients. Our clients mention it's very easy to book online and they appreciate the reminders texts for their appointments. For us as a business it makes things work smoothly while our business looks professional and by having the reminders sent to our clients, we eliminate wasting time and money with clients not showing up for their appointments.

Pros

Timely takes care of the very important part of our business - booking of appointments. Without this working smoothly we wouldn't have a successful business. Our clients book online, get reminders of their appointments and we don't have to do anything!

Cons

I can't think of anything that I don't like about the Timely software. It's totally worth the money we pay for it.

Easy to use cloud based booking system that has allowed us to integrate online diary with 2 way text and email notification, stock control and invoice/ billing system. We can now book in clients using mobile devise when we are not in the clinic.

Cons

Very little to complain about, it's little bit clunky when used on Android phones or tablets. Could do with an Android app like the Timely Apple app.

That it does everything I need it to do but isn't ridiculously over priced. I also like that you can open the program anywhere, anytime just using an internet connection.

I would like if in the stock reports I was able to separate professional and retail stock so I could get a more accurate idea of stock on hand.

Pros

The fact that you can log into it from anywhere as long as you have internet, fairly easy to use as long as you put some time and effort in to discovering what the features are.

Cons

Every now and then we experience glitches in the system etc. unable to log in, screen doesnt show up.

Timely has changed my life. I had a girl doing reception, returning messages and confirmations texts. Timely took this role over almost 100%. The fact that people can buy gift vouchers online has given me more free time that I'm not waiting for people to turn up to purchase in person!!! Love love love

Pros

Online booking system and the online gift vouchers. The automatic confirmation texts have saved me so much time!!!!

Cons

Don't have an outgoing spending function that isn't a 3rd parry and that I can't do discounts on value gift vouchers.

Very easy to use, can use on iPad, iPhone and android. Excellent for me to keep track of monthly sales and products. Able to easily print off daily reports for accounts. DNA rate dropped with text reminders. Excellent customer support and value for money.

Cons

I'd like to be able to keep client records on the system and to hopefully go paperless in time but I appreciate this would probably increase the monthly fee

A small thing but Google two way sync does not work 100% of the time. That can lead to double bookings. I would like to see a email notification if it goes down for a user as well as it block all bookings.

Great prices for a great software

Pros

How simple it is to use. That i receive emails when clients have booked. The reports are easy to read and show plenty of information

Cons

I would like some more features, like loyalty programs, a few more reports, For clients to see their appointments when they log into timely so they don't need to call us and check what time is it. I know it is in their first email but many clients delete this. It also sometimes won't let us delete treatments in the editing area.

It would be cool to have a customized pop up botton that could pop up near the end of sale ie. have they got their waxing gloves, to remind us to. tell about the promotion we have.
