Avira Endpoint Security Software

Designed for small businesses, Avira Endpoint Security offers multiple layers of defense to protect both workstations and file servers from cyber threats.

Avira antivirus guards against malware, including viruses, Trojans, worms, backdoors and “rootkits,” a type of hidden malware. It also scans every file as soon as it is accessed by a user on the company network. This solution also accesses cloud-based intelligence to identify new threats and isolate them on the basis of suspicious behavior, thus reducing the risk of harm to a system.

Avira Endpoint Security also includes protection for Internet threats. Messages and attachments are continually scanned for malware, while Web defenses protect against unwanted software downloads, infected URLs and phishing attacks.

Avira Endpoint Security comes with an integrated management console, which can be used to automate installations and updates, and also to generate reports and analysis, providing businesses with visibility into activity on their networks.

Likes Best

The feature list is good, the UI is clean, the product seems legit.

Likes Least

All features are so basic that you can't really use it. The firewall is only a Windows Firewall Configurator. The SPAM filter only scan non-encrypted IMAP/POP traffic, no Outlook integration to scan your GMail. Bad virus detection in my case.

Recommendations

There is way better solution. You should not consider it.

I have no trouble worrying about virus protection at all and it tells me when I need to clean it up. It basically does just about all of it.

Pros

No hassle no problems. We have been using this product for several years and have not had one virus or anything negative attached to our server or pcs

Cons

I have not problems or cons to report, this product is utilized and we do not even know it is fixing things it is just all automatically taken care of.

This product has kept our office clean of any viruses for years. I would recommend this to any office. This office utilizes the professional version for our servers and our individual PCS.

Pros

This product is easy to use, easy to install and we have no issues at all. The techs that work with our server also agree.

Cons

Actually I have no dislikes.

Excellent scores from independent testing labs.
Very good score in our malware blocking test.
