The Receptionist for iPad is a cloud-based visitor management solution. The solution serves businesses of all sizes across all industries. The primary features of The Receptionist are visitor logs, visitor badges, visitor notifications via SMS and email and two-way communication with visitors.

The Receptionist offers delivery management, photo capture, signature capture and contact import features. The ITAR compliance feature identifies if visitors are US citizens. This information is recorded in outgoing notifications and visitor logs.

Simple and easy for our customers to use. Love the customizations and the service I am provided when I do need to contact someone. They are always friendly and issues are fixed usually within less than a five minute time frame.

Cons

Wish it could do multiple sights on one machine (meaning we would have a device at each check in location but it would show me on my one admin login all 4 facilities in one).

We are able to setup multiple ipad's to capture most visitors at most of our doors. Installation is simple and the web app works as intended. Simple for even our oldest of participants to use.

Cons

Still has some growing pains due to missed feature sets compared to other players in this industry.

The reporting feature set is missing customization.

Features to assist or aid in situations such as emergency or fire would help preparedness.

I love the Slack integration and the sleek design. Everything is very user friendly and the support team are always available at a moments notice via the very accessible live chat button on the web interface. I especially love the visitor response canned comments for the two-way chat. This makes it very easy for our employees to communicate effectively with our visitors.

The system itself is beautifully simple, streamlined and effective - we viewed over 30 systems and they all took weeks to input data and configure the system but with this software it took me an afternoon and we were up and running. We now have a very sleek sign in for Visitors and Contractors with a video for Health and Safety, and all using one iPad .. so not only does the reception are look smart but the process is so simple and creates such a buzz for our clients signing in, and a great first impression. I love that while I am in need of help, I can do a live chat with the tech support. I rarely need help as the system is very easy to use, and works just like it's supposed to, but if there is an issue, they respond almost immediately to all the questions that I have posed to them. They are able to check things out right there, and I get my questions answered. We really like the ease of use, and as the administrator of the system, I love the support we receive and nearly immediate response. Highly recommend the system.

I did not have a lot of time to find an automated solution to our reception problem. Thereceptionist.com was the first site I found, and I visited two others as comparison. This was the easiest solution in every aspect. Configuring our account was easy, changing it was easy and the few questions I had for tech support were responded too asap. And it is inexpensive enough that I put it on a credit card. Presenting this to the G.M. for approval was a slam dunk.

The iPad has been extremely helpful and put to use daily. It was the best investment for SMP. The only problems we've had, is when there is an apple update, the iPad is not compatible with the iPad Receptionist app. I have to continually delete and re-download the program and printer. Overall we are very satisfied with the iPad Receptionist. Additionally your tech support team are very knowledgeable and helpful, every time I call for assistance.
