CSipSimple is a session initiation protocol (SIP) -based client application that allows users to make calls over the internet to anywhere in the world. Users can make free phone calls to others using the same application, and they can use their own Android smartphones.
Users can set up CSipSimple by providing basic information such as display names, usernames, their SIP server and passwords.
CSipSimple provides users with unique VoIP account numbers, which are used as phone numbers to receive free calls. The application is designed specifically for Android phones, and users need access to internet connections over Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G.
For users with no Internet access, the vendor provides VoIP Direct, which allows them to make calls to their contacts by dialling a local number.
Mobile devices supported by CSipSimple application include Google Nexus, Passion/Bravo, Xperia, Galaxy Lite, Sprint Hero and Dream.
