Digium, the developer of Asterisk (a widely used open-source telephony platform), offers a phone system known as Switchvox, which is available both as a Web-based and on-premise solution. Businesses with multiple locations can also deploy hybrid Switchvox systems, in which on-premise and cloud-based systems at multiple offices are peered to work together as a single system.
One respect in which Switchvox differs from many VoIP solutions is that all licensed users have access to all of the system's capabilities, as opposed to solutions that require users to be individually licensed for features such as call recording.
Switchvox enables unified communications for end users via the Switchboard client, which can be utilized for click-to-call, instant messaging, presence, etc. Switchvox Mobile allows employees to access PBX features with mobile devices. Contact centers can also utilize features such as call queuing and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).
Digium offers SIP trunking for businesses that need to connect calls to and from the traditional phone network, but businesses can also use third-party SIP trunks with Switchvox.

I use digium in my office. If the quick dialer isn't crashing, other features will.
Ease of use when working
Never working at 100%. Something is always failing or down, if not the whole system.
Use something else.
Nim from Finacity
Intuitive setup and admin interface. Phone setup works well.
Support (paid) is horrible. System critical issues take days sometime weeks to get resolved. In Hindsight, if I knew there support was so bad I would not have invested in this system.
Don't purchase this system if you plan to call for support.

Ease of configuration, rich feature set, best price for feature set on the market.
support can be slow at times, some features do not work 100% or are a little flaking
While Switchvox does have some little quirks, it's nearly impossible to beat the feature set this system has for the price. It's got the features of a shoretel without the crazy price tag, just keep it mind it is not quite as polished. It's a very robust easy to use system.

No hardware issues after a year and a half. Easy to use GUI. Simple installation.
Software is old and outdated even on the latest version which requires an active support contract to stay up-to-date.
Lots of bugs and problems.
The Switchboard lags, crashes, and displays inaccurate information. Switchvox support (which we pay for) acknowledged this as an issue over 6 months ago and have not produced a fix or workaround.
Support is a joke.
No impressive features. API is not very robust. No real integration. No real fault tolerance / high availability options.
Test the hardware before committing. It is easy to make a decision just by talking about it, reading about it, and seeing pictures, but I suggest a full evaluation of the system, even if in a lab, before spending tens of thousands of dollars on a new phone system. Contact other businesses with the system to see how they like it.

Digium Switchvox is easy to use as it has a familiar interface. Plus, it is easy to control and configure.
The IVR menu should have more advanced actions in Digium Switchvox.
I worked with many PBX brand and I concluded that you cannot found such PBX easy with good performance like Digium Switchvox.

Very reliable, able to function for 24/7/365 without any need to reboot. Very Easy to use, with well GUI design.
Yearly licenses payments, each year you have to pay for the subscriptions
You can buy without any need for testing, try the Switchvox 360 SMB
Note: this is a hardware solution and not software solution
