UNIVERGE 3C, NEC’s software-based IP-PBX, is a sophisticated platform for unified communications and collaboration. Its comprehensive functionality helped it earn the 2014 Internet Telephony Product of the Year award from technology magazine TMC. UNIVERGE 3C is available in on-premise, cloud-based and hybrid deployments, all of which are priced by number of users. In addition to running on major desktop operating systems (Windows and Mac OS X), UNIVERGE 3C also runs on iOS and Android for mobile access.

Users can move calls between devices and control when they answer them. Unified messaging ensures that users will stay on top of messages, regardless of whether they’re sent as voicemail, email, SMS or IM. Moreover, UNIVERGE 3C offers a sophisticated Emergency Onsite Notification feature that lets responders know the exact building and room location from which an emergency call was placed.
