Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP Software


 

Windstream is a provider of network services for business communications, including a suite of cloud-based applications for voice communications known as Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP.

Windstream offers SIP trunking for businesses that want a single-provider VoIP solution, or businesses can “bring their own bandwidth” by using a third-party SIP trunk with Windstream’s applications. Businesses can choose from a number of different bundles of applications and services designed to meet the needs of small businesses as well as midsize enterprises.

Windstream is also an Internet service provider (ISP), and can thus provide fully managed connections to SIP trunking services over ethernet, T1 and/or MPLS. Businesses can reduce the difficulty of troubleshooting voice network issues by consolidating Internet service providers with SIP trunking providers.

Windstream Virtual PBX VoIP provides standard PBX features, such as an auto attendant and find me/follow me (a feature that forwards calls to mobile devices when out of the office). Businesses can manage PBX features via a self-service Web portal.
