RoomSketcher is our 'go to' for all floor plans. It is very user friendly and has the options we need.

I love that we can send in a blueprint for rendering and get a beautiful sketch in return. There are various finish options to choose from and we can usually find options that closely resemble our clients belongings.

I prefer to have a paid subscription with an unlimited number of sketches. We, of course, don't mind an added for for blueprint production. Also, it is not real clear how to forward a final sketch to a client through RoomSketcher. I currently have to grab a 'screen shot' and send that way.

Meh you the best out there that I could find, but you have flaws.

That I can costumize the room to include features that we have in the room such as grab bars.

That I have to use credits to render a room and something’s will not look correct in the room so then I have fix them because does not look the same on the capture so I am wasting credits.

Room sketcher has helped me elevate my business to the next level by being able to create 2d layouts and 3d renderings.

I would like to see more furniture choices. Many other programs allow you to pull items from the internet (example: pottery barn) and put those actual pieces into the layout. As an interior decorator, this would be amazing.

The great quality of 3d floor-plans! The easy way to design mostly from my iPad. Friendly for user and so easy to learn and use the app! Also the RoomSketcher team. The customer support is the most supportive and helpful team!

The library of items, materials, textures, furniture.

It is a great design layout tool but limited, perhaps I'm asking too much for the price. I like the easy of use and the ability to drag objects around and resize them. It's a great tool for the price.

3d and 360 are great ways to look at the product from all sides and angles. Mostly easy to use.

Adding some items, or letting the user create something not in the library like beams, wider variety for furnature as well as roofing material would be nice. Also a matriel list would be super. Adding layers for electrical and plumbing would have been great too.

I love the program for its ease of use and ability to bring designs to life. The renderings typically come out phenomenal. I would like to have more CAD like functionality with ability to add dissensions to 2D photos for contractors/ non-client focused images that are still necessary. To be able to import new library content would be an amazing feature. I would never look elsewhere.

Inability to create 2D images in black & white/line drawings with dimensions. Limited content library. Especially when it comes to lettering/shapes and art.

Good experience and I will use them again. I think the more you use the, the more valuable it becomes because you are better at making modifications on your own through the app.

I like how easy it was to attach a plan and get my initial drawing back within 24hrs.

Revisions were not always handled as well as initial drawing. It seemed like the initial drawing was done by a program given some odd mistakes. E.g. Fridge in front of cabinet or tv on the ground.

My review is solely based on finding this site and the initial login and testing to see what I could do from a mobile device. The rating does not take into consideration the actual PC downloaded app.

The concept sounds nice with plenty of opportunities to upgrade to full 2D or 3D compilation for your design.

Initial logging in and trying to do anything with a mobile device was not easy. This software is meant for PC or tablet only. I was hoping that because my phone is a phablet I could get something to work so I could further test out the software. No such luck, but it does clearly state for PC and Tablet

First I want to say that this is my honest opinion about the Software and I'm not payed or something like that for what I'm going to say. I'm using Roomsketcher for a few years, and it needed me time to explore what everything this software can do, and it can do a lot, especially when you're creative and know how to use everything given. Also, if I have any question about things I could do and how, the support team makes it really clear, and I have to say, really quick and quality. Furthermore, IT IS intuitive, unlike some other softwares that I'm not going to name and from which I gave up emmediately. And yes, you can do one wall in one color, and other walls in other. AND I'm just to get to know more options that I haven't know there are! I just want to say: this is absolutely amazing tool, especially if you have will to explore it and play with it, and if you are creative, you can do literally almost whatever you want. When you use this software for a while and you know it well, then you can give CONSTRUCTIVE critics what's good what's not, which isn't case with some reviews I read here. And one more thing, if someone finds BETTER and CHEAPER software, please let me know. Yes, I thought so..

beautiful 3D photos, huge library of materials, furniture, colors- often upgraded, excellent support, changing materials, colors and dimensions of furniture

it would be good to have natural light in 3D photos and it would be really great if 360 view costs less credits

Great - easy to use - easy to communicate with the company as well. When something wasn't right on my floor plans, they fixed it, and quickly.

You can send your plans in, and within 24 hours you have them in roomsketcher. It was very easy to learn how to use and didn't take a lot of "teaching".

I wish it was a bit easier to visually see the change in fabric colors on furniture pieces. (birds-eye view, not 3D)

Overall... happy!

I love the 3D view feature and the ability to see the view from several different angles. I think the 3D print version is very crisp and clear and presents well. I do like the turn around time on renderings.

I have not been happy with the renderings as the cabinetry, etc seems to "off" is not stationary.

I have had a great experience with Customer support.

The library is large and the drawings are clean and neat.It is fairly simple to learn.I love the ability to have an old blueprint transferred to the RoomSketcher so I can work on it.

I wish it had an elevation ability as I use them so much.

Easy to learn and draw basic floorplans quickly. It's really easy to switch between 2D and 3D.

The furniture selects are very limited and not current with U.S. trends. For this reason we do not use this software for most new construction projects. Example: wood textured flooring, bathroom vanity selections - nothing is available that interior designs demand in new construction renderings. Everything is a bit dated or European.

I can quickly create or copy floorplans which gives my clients a much needed visual of the outcome of their project.

RoomSketcher has a lot of user-friendly features and options. The blueprint upload option to be able to trace floorplans, the floorplan generators and 360 view generators, the options of adding your own personal logos and disclaimers on plans and the adding measurement tools are some of my favorites. Also, the customer support is prompt and thorough.

RoomSketcher cannot accommodate vaulted ceilings of all varieties, which makes it restrictive in this day and age. The flooring and wall finishing options need to be updated.

Loved it. I was able to plan and visualise a space without paying a cent. If we decide to proceed with the project then I will probably pay for the professional suite.

I was able to download and create a virtual office space in an evening. While options with the free trial are limited, there were more than enough to create the look and feel I was after. The program is highly intuitive and easy to use (although I do use GIS and graphing software packages in my work). The 3D walk through is only available if you pay, but the camera snapshots are a great way to visualize what the space will look like without paying money. $99 for an annual subscription sounds reasonable, and there are also options to go 3D for $20 or get added materials for $20 etc. Intro vidio was helpful.

The ability to paint a highlight wall would be good - I assumed the professional package would enable that, but another comment suggests this might not be the case. Can be tricky to place things on tables, or in bookshelves, but probably just needs a little more time and energy. It is definitely possible.

I love being able to implement my visions quickly and precisely, and Roomsketcher does this extremely well

easy handling even for laypeople, after just a few applications you have enough practice, so that even more complicated applications can be carried out without any problems

there is no point of criticism, all functions can be implemented precisely and there is a wealth of possibilities

I have used a lot of cad and 3D design programs over the years and this one has open my eyes. If you have a technical brain like mine, you will learn the in and outs of this program in few days or less. Go pro with Home Designer, its the best investment.

I loved the many options it provided and the walk around views. Invaluable when showing off to potential clients. The pricing is really good for yearly use. I would do the vip pricing. They use real products from the real store. If you want the unlimted catalog you have to pro. Impressive and easy to learn.

If you go free or vip the program is very limiting. Its best to go Pro small to really enjoy what the program fully offers. Other than that...I got nothing. Its really good.

Overall I am very happy with the software but needed some time to really work out how to use it for my use cases.

I really like the template & object library, and how easy it is to create room structures.

There is atm no functionality for the Mac Software (don't know if Windows has it) to select multiple decoration element at once and move/delete them.

My overall experience with RoomSketcher is that is a waste of time and energy. Any paid products don't match your projects. Products are not effective.

Was able to make a decent floor map of our kitchen for an upcoming renovation project. It looked okay in the development stage, not in the 2d floor plan.

Went through a bunch of work to design our kitchen, went to print out a 2D floor design for it. It charges $2 for it from the free trial. So we pay and what we get out is absolutely useless and not worth our time. I spent all this time getting the dimensions right and then they were all wrong (think gaps between cabinets and windows, door spacing, cabinets started overlapping). There was no grid or dimensions printing on the floor plan. We were hoping to turn it over to a professional designer for our kitchen renovation but we're starting from scratch and looking for other software. RoomSketcher is an absolute waste of time.

It's mostly free if you want to play around with a plan.

They make you pay for floor plans. The measurements don't show up after you put the time into entering it into the software. They make you pay for a print and that print doesn't even have any measurements.

Just try to edit, then print something. You'll understand

It really makes you appreciate every other software program created. Truly a piece crap.
