Enhanced features can take some practice to refine. Software price tag is steep, but pays for itself upon use.

Beyond Typicals brings an impressive visual representation, with several adjustments not available in similar software.

The technical engineering and architectural drawing left something to be desired, especially in relation to the limitations of the annotations.

I liked the flexibility, ease of use and the ability to make components that are not there given the different natures of projects done. It helps us, professionals, get the messsaeg accross to the public and to the client in the simplest form.

It is a very heavy software that caused my device to crash multiple tiem while building the cross sections or rendering them. It is also very expensive.

It's been really good. Beyond Typicals hits the sweet spot between 2d illustration software and 3d visualization software. You can't do everything, but that's a strength because it keeps the software easy to use and learn.

Really easy to use, nice library of 3d objects. The photo compositing works well.

I'd like more font choices for the labels. It would be nice if I could have the section hold at the centerline as lanes etc. are added. If I'm not adding equally to both sides I need to keep adjusting the alignment offset - for example to hold an existing curb. It's pricy, if you buy it , use it a lot.

The overall experience has been great, and customer service/troubleshooting with [sensitive content hidden] has been top notch.

I find that using the software really slows down my computer, even after getting a new, higher powered computer with the proper specs. There are also a few things that are difficult (or impossible) to do with Beyond Typicals that would be really helpful - such as drawing a bridge over a roadway, or generating an interseciton.

We have used beyond typicals in several open house settings during planning or preliminary design phases of roadway transportation projects where we are comparing several cross sections. It's great that we can compare impacts, different components all from the same realistic view.

3D Views, the vast library of components and items. The ease to place items. We appreciate all ongoing developments that have improved the product month-to-month. The development calendar looks great to see what all is intended for the future.

I've been asked a couple times if we could show an intersection or roundabout in Beyond Typicals. My response is no, and it makes sense because that wouldn't really be a "typical section", more a full visual. But thought I'd provide that feedback in case there is that possibility to incorporate

I am still learning but i can quickly make renders for our clients eventhough I have not yet fully grasped beyond typicals possibilities/functionnalities.

Produce high quality renders in a short amount of time. Beyond typical helps to sell ideas of design to our clients because it really helps them to understand the final design.

Labeling is somewhat not as intuitive as it could be. A language selection would be awesome (french). It would be great if the cut and fill would change name according to your unit choice (metric vs imperial) since the name of the cut represents a value in feets.

I like the speed at which I can create a high-quality visualization for a proposed roadway section.

I sometimes wish that I could dock tool bars to the bottom or top of the screen so that they don't disappear if I accidentally click off of them.

This has made it super easy to create interesting visuals for changes or concepts to roadways that is easy engineers, planners, and the public alike to understand.

I like the quality of the graphics and how easy it is once you get the hang of it.

Sometimes the items I want to use are hidden as options I need to add and/or make. Once or twice the program has crashed on me. I wish the Total Width function could subtract areas outside the road bed, such as buildings I place on the side.

Great. The Beyondware team does a great job of listening to their users.

The software is so easy to use. Almost anyone in our company can load the software and create beautiful 3D content in minutes. Great visualizations in a short amount of time. The Beyondware team is great to work with and quick to respond to any questions or problems.

I would say the demand on the computer is pretty high. But I think this will change in future releases. Plus a cloud version may be an option in the future.

Beyond Typicals has been a very useful tool for our company and a great addition to our deliverables.

Unfortunately the software does use a lot of my computer life/battery, even though I use a powerful machine. With the latest version I've been experience some crashes while performing some commands. That's the only down side.

This is my favorite software to use. I look forward to using it and the clients are thrilled with the results.

The ease of use. You can literally train someone to use this software proficiently in less than an hour.

Absolutely nothing. EVERYTHING about this software is revolutionary.

Overall, I really like the software but, it's very glitchy at times and even a restart doesn't work.

It provides good visualization for public engagement. It's pretty straight forward.

It gets a little glitchy at times. For example, I was just using it today and it would not let me physically select the sections so I had to use arrows to select the typical section. Additionally, the label text do not update immediately and sometimes exits out the left popup window with all the formating.

I think I had a very positive experience with that. Especially as it was easy to learn, deploy and also facilitates communication with the public.

Some functionalities are a bit tricky; for examples using a concrete slab for drive ways. Sometime the software crashes for some reason and sometimes it does not. I really can't tell what triggers that

Exceptional customer service stands out to me. Extremely responsive and helpful for all my questions!

I can create photorealistic images in a fraction of the time compared to other tools. Incredibly intuitive with new features being added frequently!

I took me a little while to find the right parts of the instructional video for one or two specific questions.

So far it was been good when working on proposals. User friendly and I alsways get the support we need when needed.

The program is overall great and what makes it stress free is that it is user friendly.

So far I have not encoutered anything that I feel needs improvement. I have been able to use the program to its full potention when needed without difficulties.

You would need a very powerful system to accommodate the application. I know there's a could option, haven't used it
