Most reliable renderer software in the market

We have created our best renders with v-ray and we have used it with all of our modelling software which is great because it does not limit us on that.

PROS

V-Ray has been in the market for several years, therefore if offered us a more robust ecosystem with lots of users online we never had any issue when learning something new since someone has already made it before. This renderer delivers an unbeatable quality of image rendering when used correctly, which we love and our clients as well. The material library and those that you can create seem incredibly real and you can integrate with lots of plugins.

CONS

At first it was not easy to learn and achieve great results, especially because of the difficult when setting lights and sun. However, it only takes practice to master it. You can also take a short course.

If rendering quality is the most important thing, this program is for you.

at the beginning it was great, cheaper and more stable, after many years the program grew and therefore lost its stability, and it became terribly expensive, so before the next upgrade I switched to another rendering engine

PROS

hyper realism of the rendered image, multitude of materials and ease of their modification, rich library of ready-made models

CONS

after many upgrades, the stability of the operation decreased, after one of them I lost many years of work because the program did not recognize old materials, poor application support for Rhino

Reason for choosing V-Ray

at that time the best price-performance and quality ratio

Reasons for switching to V-Ray

higher rendering speed and more possibilities

The best rendered for Revit, 3Ds Max & Rhino in the market!

It has been always positive with bringing in more revenue for the company.

PROS

The amazing quality of renders that are produced by its physically based renderer on CPU as well as on GPU. No tool can beat the features and performance of V-Ray. It is the best tool in the market.

CONS

The only thing that is a problem is the steep learning curve required to master this tool. Otherwise it is just perfect.

Reason for choosing V-Ray

Superior quality.

Reasons for switching to V-Ray

Better quality of renders provided by V-Ray prompted us to make the switch.

Why Vray is the industry standard for 3d rendering?

Overall its was good while sometimes it takes a toll on you figuring out the perfect settings for the render.

PROS

If you know how to use it you can create commercial level renders using this software. The fine controls that you get for each and every detail is not much seen in other software. It comes with simple library of materials. The new features to turn on and off light after processing is good as it helps to see many options.

CONS

It takes a lot of time to get the perfect render, and it also takes a lot of time to master this software. Many times you will notice some features don't act as they should. Another big con is that you can't do animations so you will only get rendered images out of it.
