Easy to use scanning software for my Fujitsu scanner. The character recognition software was fabulous made almost no mistakes.

Powerful OCR that integrates with scanning hardware and workflows.

The ability to extract to Excel was my main requirement. This makes it quite easy although its not perfect.

No matter what kind of document a client gives me, ABBYY is the best software I've experienced for getting accurate word counts and deciphering  text.

The biggest problem this software product have is a price. Also marketing/promotional reasoning about it is so lame.

I like the most with abbyy is that the functionalty. I scan the pages with its OCR function and i loved the watermarking of it.

I like the fact that FineReader has a lot of available languages and a large set of functions that make it easy to perform text recognition. Integration with large cloud services works well.

The 14th version of the program does not work correctly: the automatic brightness adjustment broke, the document opens on the second attempt, the contrast change function disappears.

The product is pretty good other than missing functionality. Customer service is unresponsive.

The software is fantastic in its ability to quickly and, most importantly, with accuracy, covert PDF files for optical character reading (OCR).

I've used ABBYY for almost 15 years, it's been very good at develloping through time. I wouldn't change it for any other OCR app.

I am pleased with the program, but it can be done better.

ABBYY FineReader is a leader in OCR software and that means that their OCR is the best. It can perform character recognition in any language.

Rolling this our on an enterprise scale and keeping it up to date is harder than the Adobe version. The cost savings I believe outweighs this problem.

I like the versatility and ease of use. It handles so many languages, fonts, etc.

Exporting files is also made easier by the software, which is great for those documents that require multiple signatures.

ABBY Fine Reader PDF,  is a market leader in its category, nothing matches it, it is a superb intuitive software that has makes PDF document conversion and manipulation to easy.

Having said that some of the pdf files were not that clear so I was asking a lot. It is the best I have seen for the price.

It's been reliable throughout and it's easy to use and save file in multiple formats.

There is integration with popular cloud services.

Abbyy does a good job here in the critical scanning factory.

Occasionally, the program makes very stupid mistakes, which require extra time to identify and eliminate. Slowly open some large files.

Good website and product support. Prices are also ot bad at all,  I like the idea of this product as well.

There will always be document parts which will be badly recognized and you'll have to update some parts of the content manually.

I love that this tool lets me convert reams of printed docs into softcopies that I can save and save in my PC.

I like the many available languages and a large number of functions that allow us to quickly recognize significant amounts of text. There is integration with popular cloud services.

Even though highly accurate, it was a pain to edit the  text and format it to match the original text formatting. Especially for text books, which have many pages with boxes and images.

I like the user interface quite a bit. It's so user-friendly - not surprising with how intuitive the functionality is.

The program used to be very bad. Auto brightness and a preview of the result did not work there.

The support was top notch. They worked with us for licensing.

Top-notch optical character and layout recognition, easy to use search, great conversion to documents.

The pricing model is good, not requiring a subscription.

ABBYY FineReader is much inferior to Adobe Acrobat Pro.

The electronic signature functions are easy to use and integrate with my email programs and notifications are sent directly to me.

I love the ease in which I can store edit and create the documents for our weekly meetings. I'm able to convert our meeting notes and graphs quickly.

I LOVE ADOBE PRODUCTS AND HAVE USED THEM SINCE DESIGN SCHOOL THEY ARE A LITTLE COSTY BUT THEY WORK WONDERS.

Restarting my computer can cause me to lose my open documents.

Their customer service is outstanding also; very helpful.

Very easy to create documents with multiple pages and to edit documents text. Good navigations icon for user to find while working on the documents.

Overall full satisfied with this product and the app is rich with lost of tools and features that help ease working with pdf's.

It is very user friendly and the navigation is labelled clearly for ease of use. Electronic Signature makes signing documents easy and once done the PDF doc can be attached and sent using email.

Adobe Acrobat has integrated well with other softwares as the default PDF viewer. It's simplicity can be nice at times as a PDF viewer.

Adobe comes in handy to leave comments and notes to edit content and make changes. I believe it is fair to say that Adobe has made a great difference in improving our work.

Editing documents can sometimes be difficult when the editing boxes do not line up properly.

Acrobat is the software of choice for printing labels for beer cans. Ve found the printing functions work best for PDF’s.

Ease of use and ease of conversion. Our scanner auto enters files as JPEG and switching them to PDF with Acrobat is so smooth and easy to teach to team members.

Very Easy to use and deploy on so many platforms. Reading becomes very flexible by allowing easy navigation as well as in reading word search.

It consumes a lot of RAM, it does not have a free option and it is difficult to work with pdf texts because they are perceived as images.

Since I switched to Adobe Acrobat, it was the best decision and it allowed me to quickly convert scanned documents to text with very few edits required.

While it hasn't aged fairly well in terms of functionality and ease of use, it is still the reliable and dependable app I use for pdfs.

Loved the overall experience of the user interface but always felt the price point was set a lot higher yet aspirational.

I like that it allows easy access to editing new PDF forms and converting them to a fillable form to avoid printing costs.

The ability to share documents and have all edits and comments saved right in the document with information on who made them provides accountability and streamlined communication.

I sue it everyday, and love it... it is easy to use and intuitive tool placement has gotten better over the years.

Though the cost is much higher than other PDF editors, the quality of the work it provides is far more greater than the cost.

Adobe Acrobat is pretty much the gold standard for PDFs. But it has gotten too expensive for me, with the subscription based fee system.

I believe Adobe Acrobat DC is the most complete PDF solution you can download into your computer. It has saved me from multiple file troubles in the past.

While I sometimes use other apps to create my pdfs, I still consider Acrobat an essential part of my Adobe Suite. Like my dad, he may be slow but dependable when you need him.

Personally, it is my favorite tool for reading PDF documents, very easy to use and useful for editing documents with errors.

Moreover, editing text in the pdf document can be tricky sometimes. I messed up the format and setting while tying to edit text.

I can edit almost all PDF files - text and images - in just minutes - and save them. Big help when you can't locate a native file.

Sometimes it is so slow that I just make my pdfs in Google Docs. Also sometimes the pdf elements are difficult to edit so I have to go back to Illustrator and redesign it there, then export it again.

It connects with adobe creative cloud service where we can purchase its license and unlock all the features but can also be used for free with the basic features.

It does its job perfectly with several outstanding features. I think the premium pricing is the only limiting factor for this piece of software.

The conversion of characters to graphics/images at times can be annoying.

The user experience is beyond any other competitive solution.

The interface can be a bit confusing if you are not familiar with Adobe software.
