When we implemented CS in our firm we changed from a homemade software to a total solution with great support. It was very exciting to be the first firm in the country that used this platform.

CS Professional Suite caused more problems than is solved.

Also, sometimes UltraTax does not allow hard input.

There will be times where it will crash for no apparent reason. I believe we just have so much housed within it and it gets stuck and quits.

The customer service is good however even if it is their software that is the problem they will charge you to fix their issues. We have had two sales teams and both teams have been horrific.

Consequently there was no real integration between products. CS overcame this problem.

The programming error in the software was a very basic error. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The knowledge library is very comprehensive and has everything we need. All checklists, forms, etc. are all there that we use at our firm.

Good integration between the various products.

This has caused some confusion and trouble with billing clients correctly. I am not sure why the programs are not using the same configuration for client IDs when they are made by the same company.

They charge for support on all products except UltraTax. Practice is becoming a dinosaur, and badly needs to be updated.

We use UltraxTax with Thomson Reuters. I had some questions about the software and was not able to find the answer online, I used the live chat customer service and they were able to help.

The integration between the products is top notch and so helpful. Most of the products are relatively intuitive to use.

In 2015, it made a significant error in my state filing. I was audited by the state, and based on the error that the software made, I owe the taxes plus $700 in penalties and interest.

It may be difficult to begin working with the software and no prior training/knowledge.

My firm uses the CS Professional Suite, including Workpapers, Fixed Assets, UltraTax, GoFileRoom, and Practice. Each software is perfect for our needs with extensive features included.

There is one negative however, the client IDs have to be set up slightly different in File Cabinet and Practice.

The program is so slow I lose hours of time waiting for an entry to register. The excel file import errors out and tells me the file is open in another location when its not.

The layout is very easy to maneuver around with, simple and easy to learn. Integrated software are easy to learn as well, they chose the best software to integrate with.

The system has the ability to be a valuable tool in the day-to-day functions of time management and the other modules set up within the Suite.

The software itself is a powerful tool. Coupled with the fantastic consulting teams who help us make it work best for our business.

Its great for a small to mid size firm who covers all facets of accounting.

I like how Thomson Reuters offers a variety of comprehensive products.

The software is very sophisticated but user friendly at the same and is constantly updated and improved.

Good software, wish it had some better features.

No instructions, no link or web URL for the client to navigate to and certainly no instructions at all. This might be one of the most poorly designed things in Doc-it.

A very good document managment product with good support team. I find there is still growth to come.

It was very user friendly and easy to navigate. Really easy to organize thoughts and workpapers.

Good Tax Database for Small to Medium Sized Firms.

Still confused in the UI why you can access an archive via the archive explorer or binder explorer, and both can be made to have the same layout.

The integration with caseware for each of printing and the ease to which PDF documents can be marked up. Works well in the field as well.

The best feature is the quick accessibility of documents.

It Suite ensure that my work day is efficient and effective when it comes to document sorting and progress.

It is very feature rich. In an attempt to modernize our office our first challenge was how to go about turning dozens of filing cabinets into a virtual, paperless environment.

Feels like they take a true vested interest in your satisfaction. You don't feel like you're dealing with a large tech company, but a family business.

The updated calculator is horrible. Also, the program has become less user-friendly after the updates.

The ability to annotate and mark-up documents with ease and allows paperless record keeping. The customer support is great when any issues result.

Updates are easy and support is always offered to help you initiate any updates.

It Suite is the ability to organize the files that I use. You can also set rules on each of your files to ensure that no one can edit or comment on what you upload.

Customer Support is stellar. Offers more  features and functionality without add-ons than the competition.

It team has proven to be very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended software.

Most exciting, the PDF Editor/viewer is included. For less then the cost of one Acrobat license, I get a very comparable PDF Editor plus so much more.

It was slow and ocassionally would lock me out of excel workbooks. Some data would get trapped if I accidentally opened a workpaper twice.

It crashes when I try to drag and drop from Outlook email. It crashes when I try to send an email with password protection and I drag and drop the protected pdf icon too quickly.

The best part of Doc It is its document organization. The archive and the editor are also excellent tools for any office.

The software is user friendly and is logically organized and the user can customize. The PDF editor is also great...easy to use and applicable to people that work in tax and accounting.

Clients tend to disregard the notifications as spam. Job Queue could be more user-friendly and offer more options.

Or opening a document and turning on bookmarks. The portal setup for a client and related instructions are utterly useless.

The integration between Scanning, OCR & archive is useful. Work in process binders helped clean up and organize document storage.

Doc-It  continually makes a better product at a better price and supports it well.
