They have a huge amount of data instantly available and also have an incredible helpline. I personally have had numerous odd questions that they have somehow been able to figure out. Cons: Two areas where I believe Bloomberg has cons is firstly the price. Depending on how many are purchased the price can be north of £30,000 which is extortionate and unreasonable for small businesses. The commodity portion has gotten steadily worse since 2018. Data disappears, much of the cash pricing is in accurate and a mess. I have taken to using a competing product for commodity data. It is fine for equities and IB, which I need. If you need commodity data, any of the competitors offer a much better product at a lower price.
