Pros/Cons
Pros
- The training and customer service is excellent. I think this is a fantastic choice for fixed assets software.
- We've been able to track our fixed assets with ease. The rare times we've had a question, the BNA helpdesk has been friendly and responsive.
- The ability to manage multiple companies in a single web application is great, as is the ability to manage multiple capital projects and convert compelted projects into assets.
Cons
- The reports are somewhat difficult to customize and we had trouble getting them to be in a format that we wanted.
- The program has small font sizes and sometimes hard to see. The reporting is also a bit confusing once it's printed.
- Consolidated reporting is very poor. We need consolidated reporting similar to the desktop for our Tax Accountants.
Pros
- I would recommend this to other businesses and we are now looking to put our sister companies on asset 200 because its been such a success.
- The training given by RAM staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They also offer webinars for any additional training which may be useful - these are free and worth using.
- Customer service is excellent - if I email the help desk someone always phones within half an hour and the knowledge and understanding of the product from the adviser is superb.
Cons
- It's quite hard to make changes if errors are made in a previous period.
- I was thrown into using this program with no real training on what to do and what the software could do.
- Too much functionality for our needs, as a college we do not need as much functionality as larger companies. There is no scaled down version.
