It is complicated and it is difficult for users to adjust the depreciation rates or add anything to it.

The reports are somewhat difficult to customize and we had trouble getting them to be in a format that we wanted.

One is able to record, calculate depreciation, calculate gain or loss on disposal and asset and track all fixed assets owned by a company.

For a smaller business, this software would be superb.

The training and customer service is excellent. I think this is a fantastic choice for fixed assets software.

Not every program provides the granular level of control Bloomberg does. If only their pricing model wasn't so punitive and they supported external reporting tools, it would be outstanding.

By using easy to understand asset types you can quickly populate all of your books (GAAP, Fed, AMT, etc) because lives and methods are programmed automatically by type.

After we accomplished the transfer and customized the system to our specific use, one thing I would say that is extremely helpful is the ability to search within each field.

I like how easy it is to set up an asset and the asset wizard.

Consolidated reporting is very poor. We need consolidated reporting similar to the desktop for our Tax Accountants.

The base crystal reporting is hard to use and also only allows you to report on one book at a time.

This becomes a problem because BNA charges you based on the number of assets, and the price escalates very quickly.

The software is easy to use but more importantly, it is flexible.

You get great efficiency and simply your tax reporting. If you have unusual assets you can also modify each book separately after you populate the asset type, so you retain flexibility when needed.

We've been able to track our fixed assets with ease. The rare times we've had a question, the BNA helpdesk has been friendly and responsive.

The only bad experience I have had was with your customer service team.

The ability to manage multiple companies in a single web application is great, as is the ability to manage multiple capital projects and convert compelted projects into assets.

I like the ease of inputting new assets. You can simply use the tab key to move from field to field and get assets entered quickly.

In general, this works about as well and is as user friendly as you can expect from something as complicated as a fixed asset tool. We are, in general, very happy with this product.

The primary complaint thus far is the font size used in reports.

The price model is unfair to companies with a large number of assets but few transactions. The reporting is basic and prone to error.

Asset Viewer  ability to go to next asset without exiting asset viewer. Assets View  add more headers  be able to scroll over (left and right).

It kept track of all of our fixed assets in one place.

Easy to navigate, the terms are not written in to high a level for broad access in the organization.

Customer Service was horrible. You could not talk to someone when you wanted to.

It was simple enough, even for a novice user like myself. The fact I could integrate it with my bank account and automatically enter expenses and raise invoices with my own branding etc. was great.

The single most annoying thing about it is the support.

The FreshBooks/Xero integration stopped working around 2017 (I don't know why; each company blames the other).

We were currently using Quickbooks, which had, at the time, very limited cloub-based capability. Xero looked great, was easy to use, and made it possible for our virtual team to work together.

I love how easy it is to sync bank feeds and reconcile transactions. I love the rule feature that allows me to set my routine transactions to the correct COA.

There is more information in the project tabs than what you can obtain in the report which is disappointing.

I believe Xero have captured a very nice niche of the industry with it's very business orientated user interface and simplisitic feel. It makes accounting somewhat fun for the business owner.

Ve not used the full power of Xero yet but so far it’s been great in helping me keep track of real time spending etc. It’s certainly an asset to the business and I’m learning more as I use it.

Finances are easier to keep up to date and more frequently, the software updates are seamless, the reports are great, the integrations are outstanding, and the service is super.

Every feature I need is an extra add on charge. The remember me at login does not work and I have to waste time with 2 step login every time I leave the computer for 5 minutes.

Xero has been a great experience for me. If you want software that can automatically allocate transactions when and where you need them to go, save yourself time and check out Xero.

Great software, price is affordable for small businesses.

Xero is easy to use (with a little direction perhaps) and it's been great for invoicing, payroll, and tracking our finances.

Easy to share with accountants. A thoughtful social enterprise discount given too.

And there are odd glitches in the reporting (cannot recall all the details now, I only have one client left using this app) that I had to watch out for.
