Pros/Cons
Pros
- Check-in and out systems is an amazing tool to help keep kids safe and to have all your church database, and accounting in one place is amazing.
- The customer service is excellent and the response time is very good. There is a host of reports to choose from that can be customized to your particular needs.
- The reporting capability is excellent for tracking donation statistics, and they have configured the program so that Canadian donation receipts are easily issued.
Cons
- If there was something missing it was usually user error.
- Had trouble balancing each month. Hard to get ahold of when you have an issue.
- Sometimes, we have difficulty upgrading. Not sure if the problem is with CDM/Suran, or our computer system.
Pros
- Overall the system is great, easy use in all aspects, it does well in all areas of service for the church and if we do have an issue the service desk is always happy to help us.
- It's very intuitive with a good layout, good screen prompts and useful online help. The reports I use (contribution statements, various other reports on contributions) are clear and flexible.
- I love how you can use one program and website for so many different processes. Linking the different features together for using in the great variety of reports is wonderful.
Cons
- I have also had a problem with the export of lists, sometimes names are missing and other times there is a lot of unnecessary information included.
- Once in a process I find it difficult to close out if in trouble or to find where I was when I try to styart over.
- I've had trouble finding the search function to look up a journal entry, and I have trouble searching anonymous cash gifts.
