Pros/Cons
Pros
- DataRails has substantially improved the accuracy of our budgeting and forecasting. I love the ease of it, how accessible it makes our numbers, and how simple it is to follow real-time statuses.
- I highly recommend DataRails. The product is amazing, the support is industry best, and the responsiveness to customer preferences is incredible.
- We also really liked the idea of having a dedicated customer rep , this has been extremely helpful thru the implementation, but also in creation of all our reports.
Cons
- The process of setting up the environment can be tedious and confusing.
- As someone who needs to teach this to others, it is hard to teach to someone who does not have some background with technology.
- The dashbaord functionality is very limited compared to tools such as Tableau.
Pros
- The best part about QuickBooks was that it was online and we had the ability to work even though we were not on the office premises and it allowed us to work efficiently and effectively.
- Help section is great and very informative. We use the reports feature a lot, and it is awesome to have so many reports to choose from to analyze how our business is doing financially.
- I love that you can manage your personal and buianess finnances with ease and you have help through out the entire process.
Cons
- If you switch from the online version to the desktop version, it can be difficult. Also, the data is not automatically backed up so you have a risk of losing your data.
- It can be a pain when you make a mistake and try to fix it. For some things, there are too many steps to fix the mistake.
- I don’t think there are any missing features or anything that I dislike about this software.
