The application enables employees to capture and securely store customer data in a centralized repository and generate financial reports for reference. ERA-IGNITE allows accounting teams to track employees’ productivity, view the status of transactions and rectify posting errors across invoices. Employees can use the application to search for transactions by vendor name, AP account, invoice number, posting status and other criteria. Ratings Breakdown 4 Ease of use 2 Value for money 4 Customer support 4 Functionality Pros: I have used ignite since its release in 2012 & found it difficult at first but once they started improving it got better I still like the blue screen better. Cons: Right now I use it mostly for doing inventory jobs and the program seems to be all over the place and hard to find all the features that were grouped under the same function on the blue screens. I also have a customer that has too many old inventories listed and it will not let us delete them which hinders us from doing current inventories. Era ignite (blue screen) is a little tougher but the rest of the software is very simple and enjoyable to use! Reporting is great and it integrates well with many other solutions, especially Reynolds & Reynolds solutions. Cons: The learning curve from ERA to ERA-IGNITE is steep, as is any transition from a DOS system to Windows-based. It's clear that ERA-IGNITE is core software for Reynolds and Reynolds so there is no slowing down this change.
