No extensive training was required for my department to implement the software. It is intuitive and very user friendly. The individual assigned to guide us through the set-up did a great job, and I loved the follow-up meetings after the go-live date to ensure we didn't have any issues. I also like the analytics component of the software, which we didn't have previously. #### Cons I wish that FloQast had better functionality for role-based security, but we get around this issue by creating multiple companies and then limiting the access to those "companies." We also like that it identifies areas of needed improvement with its analytics, and that we can use it to track our PBCs and improve document version control. #### Cons We underutilize its capabilities because it has soo many of them, so it may take us a while to see additional productivity, but I'm confident it will deliver. One thing that I wish it had was the ability to override signoff dates. Sometimes we forget to mark the item as complete until the next day or two, and that messes with the analytics by falsely indicating latency. #### Reasons for choosing FloQast Cost, ease of use, control, fast and easy implementation, flexibility. #### Reasons for switching to FloQast We made the switch so we could track our reconciliations that connect directly to our GL to indicate a tie-out or not. FloQast is a must-have tool to optimize your MEC processes. When I joined my last company, we had ~300 reconciliations and only ~150 checklist items. At the end of our close optimization sprint, we had over 600 checklist steps. The Sofware keeps all the tasks organized and everyone aligns with the due dates. I like the auto reconciliation feature. It syncs perfectly with our Netsuite system. We use Floqast every day, we also use it to monitor our tasks daily. #### Cons Currently having a small detail issue with the Auto-Rec feature since it is not manually picking from our Netsuite system. No incentive was offered I am such a huge fan of FloQast, I can not imagine closing the books without FloQast. It is straight forward and simple to use, even for multi national corporation such as ours. The set up was handled extremely well and FloQast team is bunch of sweethearts, very professional and extremely fast in their responses. Being able to assign reconciliations to individuals and time stamp when they are compelte each month has taken our MEC time from 15 to 9 business days and thanks to FloQast that 9 might become 7 soon. The implementation was very easy setup by FloQast team. The administration part is very straightforward. FloQast provided great training and the program has been constantly updated with better tools and functions. #### Cons The calendar setup probably can be more flexible.
