PaySimple Pro is a cloud-based service offering point of sale, payment processing, billing and invoicing and customer relationship management (CRM) tools within a suite. It is suitable for small to midsize businesses in industries such as construction, hospitality, nonprofit, retail and property management.

For repeat payments at consistent amounts, users can configure recurring billing and automated notifications to alert clients that bills are due. Users receive notifications when bills are paid or if a payment is late. Configurable payment pages, online forms and branded email alerts are available.

Users can take e-check, ACH or credit card payments over the phone, in person or bill customers later. PaySimple detects existing customer accounts and creates email receipts. CRM features include a client portal, automated email messaging and customer activity reports.

Payment is per month and support is available via email and through an online help center.

Ease of use, functionality, ability to generate reports, notices when recurring billing customers have cards that are about to expire.

Cons

Too long of a checkout process for online sales. I need to pay for Shopify in order to make the online buying process easier on potential introductory and trial members.

As I mentioned in the title, e-commerce business is business without a headache. I am a businessman with more than 26 years of experience leading my own business. Most of my life I worked with simple stores of clothes and not only. Unfortunately only five years ago I opened to myself a miracle of e-commerce and in comparison with all companies with which I managed to work, PaySimple satisfied me the most, because of its simpleness, possibilities that it gave me and ability to try it for free to be convinced and make a decision.

Cons

I faced some little problems in setting everything up that way I needed, so I connected with the support team and was very surprised to get immediate help with all my questions. So I will not complain about this platform because it is satisfactory enough.

This platform is very easy to use and every time you apply for help, the customer service representatives are very friendly and professional. The program allows us to easily set up our payment schedule with our members. We would like to provide flexible payment requirements to our customers and try to make our customers more successful with this payment solution. We can better control the payments of our customers. I make payment reports and can export them to the format that I need.

Cons

It's always difficult for me to learn how to change a card. If you add a card and make it by default, it will not be transferred to the translation made, it's hard to fix. I want this to be an instant check, but it takes a few days to process. It would be simpler if the customer profiles were synchronized with our trading software.

Everything is very transparent and the client needs nothing to be afraid of. A very flexible system of payments, it can be integrated into any of your platforms. Convenient export of reports.

Cons

There are additional commissions that have not been announced anywhere. Very long payments to the main account.

First, the credit card rate is very affordable; almost half of the regular POS softwares out there. Also, the customer support is beyond your expectation to help you if you are stuck.

Cons

It is little hard to use; and the application process was a little long than I anticipated. If this does not bother you, however, this software is definitely worth it!

PaySimple makes it really easy for us to set up our recurring payment schedule with our members. The service is used across our entire network. It is really great to have one standalone solution. I like the simplicity of the software, and the ability to create individual payment forms for each item. PaySimple also has wonderful customer service and I like that I can download income to a spreadsheet or a pdf file. Also, it is good that all reports that I use frequently are accessible all from the home screen.

Cons

It is hard to do a simple thing, like change the amount of an upcoming debit. For me, it is hard to find out how to change a card and if you add a card and make it default, it doesn't carry over to the already made transactions and as I pointed out earlier, that's hard to fix them.

Easier for paying of school bills by parents. They love it and seem to pay in a more timely manner.

Pros

Easy of implementation and updating on website. Customers are happy with the ease of use and security. Transaction rate is wonderful for non-profit. Previous service was too expensive and took a couple of days to process payments. This is quicker and end of month statements are great.

Cons

Able to use on associated church website as well, but can't enter description into a memo line like on school website. Works, but have to have multiple items set us which is different than with the school software.

The software itself was okay, it had issues with check out more than I would like. However, Customer service was excellent, very attentive and not condescending at all--rare in today's world.

Cons

It was difficult to know where to go for what within the system and checkout got hung up often--not good.

It is one place to do all your invoicing, receiving payments, customers can pay directly through PaySimple from our website. Also, when I have a suggestion I let them know and if at all possible, they make it happen.

Cons

The search engine has been lacking, but they have made great improvements in that area. There is a delay on the invoice page where the cursor jumps back up to the invoice number each time you click enter.

None, they robbed me! I even filed with the BBB and got nowhere! A serious buyer beware! You will be charged fees from two companies. They are super sneaky!

I hate this company and there reviews are all fake! I have done a lot of research on Paysimple and they have horrible reviews and the positive ones are all affiliates!

They stole money from me! There is no free trial and this company is very misleading.

It's beneficial for us because our parents can set up auto pay, therefore guaranteeing we receive tuition every month on time.

Pros

We love that our parents can set up automatic payments each month for tuition. They call it the set it and forget it method. The customer service is superb! They get back to you in a timely manner and were very patient with me as I learned the new system.

Cons

Instead of depositing the funds a day or two after every payment, it would be nice to save on fees by depositing the money on set days. For us 2 x a month would work. Instead I get multiple deposits throughout the month which causes me to have to input more data entry on our accounting software. It would also be great if they could somehow link to Gradelink so I didn't have to imput the payments into every single account manually.

Allows my customers credit via their credit cards. This feature Increases sales for me. Offering the three major cards has some panache with clients.

Pros

It is so intuitive. Smooth connection with my customers. Invoice has button to pay by credit card. Customers like the convenience. Tracking customers is a breeze.

Cons

nothing.
Add a feature. I can say that full integration with Quick books would allow integration with my sales tax reports and other master reports. But it is so smooth anyway that is not a real issue for me.

Payment Portal with recurring payment processing.

Pros

Customer Service, Ease of Use, Monthly Reports, low transaction fees, and we havnt experienced any system bugs or outages. Very happy with this system.

Cons

In my humble opinion the only negative I see is that the monthly reports that get sent via snail mail have a slightly outdated look. If you dont mind that then this is the payment portal you've been looking for!

I started using PaySimple a few months ago. Thus far I have had no issues. They set me up with my merchant account and I have has no issues with transactions at this point. They do what they said with little intervention from me.

Pros

Ease of use. Even with the PCI compliance they were provided helpful information to get me through it.

I went from Square to Paysimple because of their ability to hold customer payment info and for automatic recurrent payments. They have a lower charge per transaction and offer electronic check. This saves me about 8 hours a month and money per transaction. They also offer a calendar, but I have yet to make the switch to that at this time. Their customer service has been outstanding.

Pros

Automatic charging, invoicing, calendar option, lower percentage, and electronic check.

Cons

At times it can be a little confusing how to do something specific, but there has always been a way, I just had to ask.

Advice to Others

Definitely recommend it for any small business for payments. People can pay their invoice online or keep their cc info on file and do it automatically with a few clicks.
