### Great A/P Platform

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5

- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

A key pro of Plooto is its integration with other financial tools such as Dext and Quickbooks. Payments are made easily in a variety of currencies and it’s easy to keep track of them all.

#### Cons

There is a limit on the federal payroll tax amount that can be paid at one time so I have to often separate the payment into 2.

### Integral Software for Accounting

My experience has been very good! Been very happy with product in the past few years that I have been using it for my clients.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I like the integration with QBO and that it makes it easy for me to process payments with the appropriate checks and balances of approvals. The software also helps in confirming whether the bank information being provided is valid or not. So easy to use!!!

#### Cons

The only Con that I could think of is that it becomes a bit expensive for those that have very little transactions monthly where the fixed monthly fee does not get fully utilized.

#### Reasons for choosing Plooto

Cost was the Primary reason for the choice. I however miss the capabilities when Plooto first started when I could have both Canadian and US Domiciled accounts in the same login. Now I need to create 2 separate accounts for it.

### It's easy and quick to use, but it's missing a key integration that would make it perfect.

- Overall rating: 4/5

- Company size: Self-Employed
- Product usage: Used monthly for less than 2 years

Overall a good experience, but it's missing a key integration that would make it perfect. I can't wait for them to bring back credit card payments and I hope they expand the integration capabilities.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Functionality: 3/5

#### Pros

Plooto integrates with QBO and make syncing receivables and payables easy. It reconciles the payments which saves a lot of time. The customers and suppliers receive an email that tells them about upcoming payments and a link that takes them to this information plus shows them the past transactions.

#### Cons

I've been using Plooto with one client for about a year now and would like to move other clients to this system. Unfortunately, Plooto doesn't work with QBO's projects and sub-customer system. Each time I’ve tested collecting these receivables, Plooto says the customer doesn't exist and wants to create a new client even though the client does exist, it's picking up the project or sub-customer name at the end of the client’s name. If Plooto’s system can recognize the customers name before the ":" to allow collection of accounts with multiple project or sub-accounts I would be able to move more clients over to this system.

#### Reasons for choosing Plooto

I'm constantly looking at software solutions.

#### Reasons for switching to Plooto

For the 1 company I moved to Plooto it made sense because it saved time. The switched did cost more monthly, but the time savings was just to good.

### Great software for processing payments.

So far we are content with the payables portion. Soon we will be exploring the receivables side of the software.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I like how this software can sync with Quickbooks Enterprise. I can fine open invoices and you can pay directly through Plooto. It then syncs the bill in Quickbooks and marks it as paid

#### Cons

Overall i really like Plooto, but this year they had made an update which made adding new contacts more manual. Previously you could see all bills, even ones that weren't set up in Plooto. You could easily select the + to easily add the contact and set up direct deposit. Now this + is not available and evety new contact needs to be manually inputted. The problem with this is, if it is not 100% identical to your CRM (in our case quickbooks) it will not sync. Then when the bill is paid through Plooto it will not show as paid in your CRM. Which could lead to a 2nd payment.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Being able to pay Canadian and international vendors from any of my bank accounts, and upload the invoices directly via email has made life so much easier.

#### Cons

Sometimes it glitches out and I can't see the screen I'm looking for as the menu hides behind a photo, figured out that adjusting screen size doesn't help either. Takes a bit longer to back out and adjust your process, but still doable.

Overall it's a helpful automation tool that can save you time and make it so you don't have to set reminders to bill clients.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I like that Plooto is designed specifically to automate accounts payable and receivable workflows, allowing businesses to send and receive payments, schedule transactions, and automate approvals. This can dramatically reduce the manual work involved in paying vendors or collecting invoices.

#### Cons

One of the biggest limitations is that Plooto doesn’t replace accounting software. It’s primarily a payments automation tool, so you still need something like QuickBooks or Xero for bookkeeping and reporting.

It integrates well with QuickBooks, keeps everything neat and tidy. Recipients only need to enter a one time password and then their bank info and then payments go directly to their bank with less fees than a normal EFT would be.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 2/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Plooto is great for setting up payments as a third party for a company as rules can be placed so that the payment is set up to be released by a manager as cash flow is there

#### Cons

It was a bit of a learning curve with how to process partial payments, recurring payments or payments without an invoice.

It covers the basics for business payments and is easy enough to get going with minimal training. Not the most polished product but it fills the gap for teams that need something simpler than a full AP platform.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Makes sending and receiving payments straightforward without needing a full accounting setup. Works well for vendor payments and the approval flow is simple enough that finance doesn't need to chase people down.

#### Cons

Had some occasional bugs with payment processing that required support to resolve. The feature set is a bit limited compared to more mature tools and reporting could be more detailed.

The overall experience with Plooto is great, compare to using the Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment system for vendor payments. Plooto auto reconciliation feature for the weekly payments with the bank account save time for other important areas to concentrate.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Plooto helped us streamline our weekly vendors payment system. Plooto integration with the QuickBooks online is easy to use & navigate. Intimation to the vendors, through email about the payment details is a great feature.

#### Cons

When you logged in to the Plooto, you need to refresh and update & Sync it with QuickBooks online again & again. The normal processing time should be one working day for the domestic payments instead of 3 days without any extra charges.

Medium. When it works it works. When I need help, I'm on my own. For an offering as core to business as vendor payments are, support must be available when needed, and this has not been my experience with Plooto. There are other options out there offering better support.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 2/5

#### Pros

Reasonably easy to set up, and payments are reliable. Accounting integrations, when they work, allow a reasonably smooth workflow.

#### Cons

Support is terrible when needed most and either offers unhelpful solutions or ignores messages. Their accounting integration needs work to ensure consistent results.

Plooto has provided a good venue for transactions to be completed in a timely and effective way. There is excellent ability to track transactions through the whole process. This allows any issues to be clearly resolved.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 3/5
- Value for money: 3/5

#### Pros

The approval process embedded in Plooto allows us to bridge physical distances between approvers with digital access. Reduces the need to travel to acquire approvals and improves security by reducing potential loss exposures.

#### Cons

The functional environment takes some getting used to. Can still get to the end of a transaction and not have a readily apparent way to initiate another sequence. Has taken some time to understand how all of the information going into the system is presented to the vendors, to ensure there is clarity in the transaction.

Like I said...I am saving over $100 per month in processing fees since I switched to Plooto and once I got past the "set up" stage. I really love Plooto and am wishing I had set it up years ago, but I think they should let us that have "official" PAD agreements ...set up the reoccurring payments like QB Payments did =( Making that reoccurring payment set up...a lot more simpler would make Plooto just about perfect =)

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I LOVE the lower processing fees!!! I'm saving over a $100 a month by using Plooto. Once it is set up, the reoccurring payments is awesome. Their customer service was good too. Overall Plooto is an awesome addition to my business and one that I wish I had implemented YEARS ago! Great value for the monthly fee and so far...it has been very dependable in collecting my accounts receivable.

#### Cons

It was a lot harder to set up than I thought it would be =( My clients had to jump thru a lot of hoops to get the reoccurring payments set up and some were not happy about it =( I had PAD agreements for all of my clients, but Plooto does not accept those. So I have several clients that I cannot process their payments in Plooto even tho I have a PAD agreement with them and they have already given me their payment information ...but they haven't repeated the same process in Plooto ...so my PAD agreements are worthless now=(

#### Reasons for choosing Plooto

Best processing fee

#### Reasons for switching to Plooto

Processing fees were MUCH lower with Plooto

The accounts payable functionality and clear audit trail have been fantastic. It is a useful software for our firm and our clients have definitely benefited from the implementation. I definitely recommend Plooto to anyone that would benefit from it. I think there are some flaws with the software regarding international wire transfers as well as with the tier set up that need to be sorted out. We have had to manage some issues with clients as a result of these flaws. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with the software/cost and I am confident that it will continue to improve.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 1/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

Integration was smooth and easy to use. It has saved time, organized files with a clear audit trail, eliminated a number of potential mistakes which can happen through manual entries.

#### Cons

Approval tier set up is very poor. Having a global tier and specific bank tier are great, but there should be clearer instructions that setting up a tier on a specific bank will supersede and eliminate a global tier. When the amounts on the tiers are completely different one should not impact the other. Eg - Bank tier - 0-1,000 requires X approvers and Global Tier 1,000.01 - unlimited requires Z approvers. The global tier should not be ignored since the amounts are completely different.

Easy to integrate to QBO and Xero. Up to date outstanding bills.

The product is straightforward to use but I wish that customer service was more responsive and clearer. Looking forward to knowing the limits and future features of the product better.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5

#### Pros

It is very useful to facilitate cross border payments, the pre-loading for funds to accelerate payments is appreciated. The ability to automate regular payments and populate a transaction is high.

#### Cons

The cross border receivables are extremely limited, the amount is too low to collect receivables across the border. I would like better communication as to what my options are and how to pre-qualify different vendors.

#### Reasons for choosing Plooto

It is less expensive than traditional banking and when it works, it works well for what we use it for.
