I've used five planning programs in 16 years. RightCapital has delivered the best value and customer service to date. The software is intuitive for most financial planners and doubles as an effective client portal.

No cons whatsoever. Everytime I think they could improve something, they come out with software updates that improve the experience/usability/forecasting.

The developers at RightCapital listen closely to the requests and pain points of their users and work continually to make improvements. After 2 years using this software, I feel it has to be very close to the robustness of the most expensive planning software tools available on the market. The what if scenario planning is very powerful and fast.

While the tax reporting features are impressive, like showing 1040 form style reports, separate tax projection software is needed to run detailed year to year tax analysis. Further niche planning can be improved in areas like college, social security and long-term care planing. Account aggregration can also be improved.

Price point is much better than some of the alternatives. Ability to customize logo and colors for reports. Located in CT!

Budget feature is not as intuitive or helpful as expected. Wish the two columns were arranged as "Current" and "Proposed" similar to a "Before" and "After" ordering.
