Reasons for choosing Scout FDC Felt like Scout had the best looking product, cleanness of data presentation and felt confident they had the support staff who would be able to help us customize our experience. Reasons for switching to Scout FDC P2 was difficult for all job functions to access and get the data they needed. It worked for some but not all job roles. Any changes that we wanted to make in P2 took several days or longer to get addressed and often cost us additional fees to have accomplished. By using Scout we have saved time and become more efficient for the field operations as well as the office users. We are saving field operators an average of 2 hours a day of data entry by bringing in SCADA data into the application. The program allows for our company to be more and more efficient by the day. The software's ability to mold to our needs while also offering upgrades that other customers are suggesting without much additional cost is the best feature. Cons: The monthly reconciliation process is a feature that was missing initially but is currently being developed. We also hope to use the reporting process a bit more extensively than is currently being utilized. Reasons for switching to Scout FDC The previous product was too segmented as there were four different modules to fully use the product. Also, the support was very poor.
