this works great to keep track of expenses
The ease to snap a pic and have the receipt recorded. Also to be able to not have to save receipte in an envelope or pocket - no more lost receipts.
CONSSometimes it does not auto read the receipt . Also, if the pic is taken in low light it doesn't recognize it. It also reads the first line as the business name - sometimes that's not the case.

Next Steps with Rydoo
It has taken 2 years to fully integrate Rydoo at our Organization due to Smart Phone challenged users. Now that all employees are using the platform, it runs very well. Those who utilize Apps especially love the platform.
PROSThe App is extremely easy to use. If you can use an App, you can easily migrate to using this software. The travel features are a great upgrade. Because the receipts are in the cloud, you can quickly run reports for tax/audit purposes providing ample evidence for auditors.
CONSFile maintenance is cumbersome for users with accounting and controller privileges. You can contact Support but you really should be able to do on your own.

Caution for fraudulent cancellation policy
I tried to use Rydoo and its predecessor Xpenditure a long time for handling the company receipts. I never got it to work very well, and moved to another system. The cancellation procedure was awful, and I believe it tells a lot about Rydoo's company culture and practices.
CONSWhat made the experience exceptionally bad, was that their cancellation procedure easily tricks you to to put the account into a "read-only" mode, instead of deleting it all together. Even though you get a confirmation on the screen, they don't send the confirmation by email, and will charge additional amount for the "read-only" mode. This charge is not described in a contract or terms and conditions. Their customer service or even the top management did not want to hear my complaints, and customer service rep was, in a word, impolite in their communications. Because of this, I was forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and I felt that I need to write this review to warn others who are considering their services.

Great Expense Software for Road Warriors
Matching doesn’t always match obvious charges it should have to take the extra step of logging in on your computer to help the software match the receipts you have uploaded.
PROSThe mobile app is excellent for scanning and uploading receipts!
CONSIf you are connected to your hotspot scanning and uploading receipts does not work. You have to disconnect to get the app to work as it should.

Manage all your expenses easily
It recognizes almost all the text from your images whether they are taken from a mobile phone or a webcam and auto-fills all the forms in their correct places. Easiest way to manage all your company expenses.
CONSSometimes I have faced issues while using this on my phone as an app. Might be the next updates would resolve this.

Xpenditure
This app will keep me up to date with my bookkeeping. It allows me to almost instantly upload the photographed receipt from my phone straight into my books. Once there I can edit as necessary and export a categorised report of my expenses.

A few annoying things on set up but good integration
Integrated with FreeAgent and provides a good image and posting service. Works well. The set up was a bit tiresome and a couple of categories are somehow not working but overall a huge timesaver.

Xpenditures
So far, I've been pretty impressed with how automated and "intelligent" the app is in determining merchant, receipt total, date, etc. I looked at several scanners and devices before deciding to give Xpenditures a whirl. I think it's going to free up a lot of my time spent entering data to a spreadsheet.
PROSThat it reads the receipt and can "intelligently" determine merchant, amount, etc. from a picture taken with my phone. I think I'm really going to love using it!
CONSI haven't done much yet with the reports and such - but a tutorial giving pointers would be helpful in getting started and setting up my system preferences (maybe I missed it??? and it already exists?) I do like having Help Chat available!

Claiming your expenses back is now not so much of a chore
I have only recently started using Xpenditure as a way to store & manage my expenses. Before expenses had to be scanned individually, but with Xpenditure the option to take a photo and have all the hard work done for you has cut the amount of time needed to log expenses at the end of the month. I work in construction and am away on site for the majority of the week, with out access to a computer / scanner, having Xpenditure on my phone enables you to take a photo of your receipt immediately once you made a purchase and log it with out having to worry about carrying the receipt around with you after.

Well at the beginning it was good.. but I think in the last year it's declining..

CONSNo way to update easily credit card statement. Every time we do that, i.e. once a month , two of our credit card statements do not update correctly. Which one, it's random. Now I will have to do that manually. Thanks Rydoo, you are good at promising.. but then, it's my problem. I have been having patience, but I think i will migrate for next year to something easier, or at least cheaper...

Downhill
This was a great app before Rydoo purchased Expenditure. It has gone downhill with every update since the purchase. I've never seen anything like it. They've turned a good app into absolute junk. I'm switching to another app even though I recently paid for an entire year.
PROSThis used to work great. It uploaded emails and camera shots without issue. Made doing a expense report a piece of cake. I had my entire sales team using it. It's been a steep downhill ride for the last six months. Our entire company is changing, most likely to Concur.
CONSWill no longer upload emailed receipts. Camera uploads are slow and often are duplicated. The software has a tendency to take the amount before tip, which makes it worse than useful. You have to check every receipt to make sure it uploads correctly.

Easy and feature rich for a user
I use this software daily for my expense reporting. Having used other software in other companies, Rydoo is much easier and doesn't clutter the user experience. I like that the experience is consistent between the mobile app and the web-based interface.
CONSThe only issue I have is that if you don't wait for the expense to show as created after saving, you will lose the uploaded receipt.

Good software supporting small businesses
It is a good software, but in some parts possibility for optimization. f.i. in the mobile version it should be possible to enter all datas (VAT) and it should be possible to forward the bill to the boss. There should be a direct link from the report to the expense, without going the deviation via expenses and the filter there

Managing expenses of a Team
Dear All, I am the Application and Service Manager of DORC Germany. With this tool Expenditure it is very easy to manage the expenses of a Team (6 members). You have You categories and can also select and analyze expenses to make a statisik. Good tool very good.

Frustrating at best.
So far not much at all.
PROSGood user interface, that is abut it. I wish I could have more positive things to say but I don't.
CONSextremely poor back office interface. Highly inefficient for companies with different entities (in different countries), different clients and different client projects. The Exact Online interface is without a doubt the worst developed interface that exists. The development team and QA department absolutely messed this up real good.

Xpenditure connects our business!
As a financial employee of the administration of our German business, I am using Xpenditure software since for 9 months now. We (financial end) and the users (business end) use the software for approving and reporting invoices payable, as well as personal expense reports. My experience is that the software has a lot of features that enables me to finetune the use and output we desire. On a more philosophical note, the usage of Xpenditure is one of the means to connect our remote business office in Munich with shared service center in Amsterdam.

CONSData is less editable then I would like to see, i.e. data should be able to be extracted as Excel file for instance.

A simple tool to track my expenses - but has the occasional hiccup
Capturing expenses on the go via the mobile app is simple and quick Makes it easy for my to get reports ready when it's GST return time.
CONSSoftware stil has occasional hiccups. Sometimes it seems to pick and change currencies at random and the mobile app does freeze occasionally. But I've also noticed significant improvements over the last 6 months so I'm confident this is being worked on.

Xpenditure Survey
I really like the use of Xpenditure. Updated App on my phone & do not like having to log on email and password every time I need to enter a receipt on my phone.

This is just a great time saver most of the job is done with the Phone. A last review on computer remains necessary. Round invoices to be double check as it can be due to the format of some invoice (ie. when the figure in the bottom is the cash that you gave, not the amount that you paid)

Xpenditure Review
This product has helped free up my time from spending countless hours processing expense reports. So far it seems to be a very valuable tool for us.
PROSIt is very easy to use. I was able to add one of our employees and with very little instruction they were able to upload and submit expenses.
CONSOne feature that would be nice to have is the ability to edit transactions from within a trip. I am still struggling to figure out the per diems but I am sure that will come with time.

Great App and great service!
We use it to manage expenses for a small start up. It's the best option to report expenses we found after great searching. It does exactly what we needed: to see where the money is going away.
PROSReally easy to use. Even our most senior partners learned to report their expenses after a short tutorial. It's really intuitive. Costumer support is also great.
CONSIt's a little bit expensive, but it's worth it. Free software doesn't work well with teams.

Easy to Use
I use this software to submit receipts for reimbursement. I only use it on occasion so I am not as adept as I would like to be with it. I think overall it is easy to use and gets the job done.
CONSI wish it was more intuitive. It seems handy to upload receipts but every time I do I get flagged for the receipt being missing so I have to redo my submission.

Xpenditure for a VERY small business
I have had exceptional live chat service throughout my trial period and it was a huge factor in deciding to go ahead with a subscription.
PROSEase of use and set up was relatively easy compared to other accounting programs I've used before. For such a small business, we needed something simple and this seems to suit our needs exceptionally well.
CONSSetting up the GST component for Australian businesses and not having an Australian ABN in the set up. The wording in particular is confusing when trying to set it up in Aus. It is set up to show 10% but if you are only putting in partial GST you have to remove the GST and select something different because the program wont allow you to adjust the amount.

Traveling and spending on a regular basis couldn't be easier with it
From scanning through submission, Rydoo provides a user-friendly application that breaks down the process into a series of distinct phases. Streamlining the process of creating and uploading tickets, which are immediately converted into the necessary data. Prior to rydoo, it would take longer to acquire approval for spending. Due to the fact that this method is more well-structured, there is less of a possibility that an expenditure payment would be missed.
PROSI appreciate the tool's simplicity and the helpfulness of the support staff. The ease with which I was able to enter information and obtain reimbursement for my costs; the simplicity with which new expenses could be added and existing ones could be updated. It's awe-inspiring that the worth of factors is automatically recorded.
CONSThere are few possibilities available. The software appears to have a slender feature set. Ex. Compared to your primary currency, you can't see the conversion rate. There are instances when we need to alter the scan too much; keep moving forward with scanning and intelligence to automatically fill in the data.
Reasons for switching to Rydoo
Expensions on the move is the greatest mobile app. Open it up and take a photo, and you're done. Scan receipts with ease. The user interface is really simple. Even the most reticent members of the team have embraced the new technology and are pleased with it. A fast and open verification procedure.
