Enter, Zarmoney. They are great. Even though I was scrambling to enter all of my sales from January through April while simultaneously entering sales from my busy season, I found it so easy to learn and the staff at Zarmoney is amazing. I got all of my questions answered in a timely manner. You can even talk to real live people! Real LIVE PEOPLE. It didn't integrate with my bank, but it is so easy to use, I don't really mind it. Takes about 2 seconds to learn. #### Reasons for choosing ZarMoney Xero is trying too hard to be like Quickbooks Online and I couldn't get away from that type of controlling BS fast enough. #### Reasons for switching to ZarMoney They made tax "compliance" mandatory. In Washington State, we don't have to pay sales tax until April, but when I went in to mark it paid (in March), it was already made unavailable. (greyed out) When I tried to talk to someone to complain about this, they reacted as if I was the one in the wrong and explained I should've taken care of it in January. This is unacceptable, it is accounting software, not a deity. I'm very happy to have made the decision to work in Zarmoney. I started a search for my next accounting software solution thinking there would be 4 or 5 choices. I was overwhelmed to see more than 30 products worth investigating. I was able to narrow that down to 5 fairly quickly, and Zarmoney was the least known name in that group. But it has proven to be the simplest and most efficient for me to set up and learn while on the go. I'm currently running Zarmoney side-by-side with my previous software, mainly to ensure a smooth transition over the course of the next 6 months. There aren't hundreds (or even dozens) of options, and there's an ever-present search bar, so finding what you need without getting lost is a great feature. The simplicity is fantastic, especially when you realize that all of the features are useful. There's nothing in Zarmoney that isn't applicable to my daily activities. Many of the other software products I considered had superfluous or redundant features that only brought confusion into my transition. The data reports are ideal for daily reviews, and the editing capabilities are so easy to use for all types of documents and data entries. It will take more time before I have enough history to use some of the reports, but I can tell they will be helpful in managing my business. Finally, the ease of communication with vendors and customers within Zarmoney is exactly what I was hoping for. #### Cons So far, I'm noticing a few things that aren't ideal. With regard to importing and exporting data, the fields don't always populate if data is identical with entries above or below, so I'm having to double check things and manually key in certain important data points on occasion. And with regard to navigation, there's not a single click from the dashboard to add a customer or vendor, so it takes me 2 or 3 extra steps to initiate that process. Finally, I'd like to be able to backup the whole database on occasion, which I can do with my previous software. While there are files I can save via export within Zarmoney, I don't have the peace of mind that comes with having the entire company finances on a thumb drive in my pocket. #### Reasons for choosing ZarMoney Simplicity was primary. Efficiency in terms of implementation, daily usage, and not getting bogged down with too many tools was next. And a close third was cost. Having the inventory module included makes this product stand out. It is easy to use with all the AP and AR functions I required. Linking to bank accounts saves significant time and increases accuracy. I haven’t encountered anything where I couldn’t find a solution with ZarMoney. #### Cons While there is an inventory module that I use and it works great there is not a BOM function to build final assemblies for stock from raw materials. This was easy to work around using a manual entry instead and is not cumbersome for a small company but might be a consideration for a larger manufacturer. More integration with third party sellers like amazon and a way to import/link orders from e-commerce platforms to avoid double entry would be nice to save some time. #### Reasons for choosing ZarMoney The software had all the features I was looking for including the inventory module at a competitive price. I do volunteer work so cost was huge. After a little learning curve the software fit my needs to a T. Thx for making such a great product. #### Cons Nothing I don’t like , but things I’d love to see improved. A auto adding feature on inventory report so I can easily see what I need to order to maintain stock on product. It gives u the numbers but doesn’t do the simple math for you. And auto generated pi for those items.
