### About SiteKiosk

SiteKiosk is an all-in-one kiosk software platform for organizations that need to secure, manage, and operate public-facing devices at scale. Available for Windows and Android, it combines kiosk lockdown, remote management, digital signage, self-service interfaces, and accessibility-focused functionality in one solution.

Designed for unattended devices such as kiosks, tablets, terminals, information screens, and digital signage displays, SiteKiosk helps teams create controlled user experiences while protecting the device, browser, operating system, and allowed applications from misuse. Administrators can define exactly which websites, apps, files, and system functions users are allowed to access. Automated session resets, browser cleanup, logout workflows, restricted browsing areas, content filtering, watchdog functions, and startup protection help keep devices stable and tamper-resistant in everyday operation.

SiteKiosk also simplifies centralized administration. Through the web-based management console, teams can monitor device status, review logs, receive alerts, distribute files, push configuration changes, organize devices in groups, and access systems remotely. Monitoring a...

nd reporting tools support visibility into performance, availability, and usage, helping IT and operations teams reduce downtime and respond faster to issues across distributed fleets. A major strength of SiteKiosk is its integrated content and interface layer. The built-in CMS enables organizations to create branded digital signage, self-service journeys, information screens, and interactive kiosk applications without complex development. Teams can use templates, drag-and-drop elements, scheduled content rules, animations, and interactive components to build experiences for customer service, visitor guidance, employee access, ordering, product information, and point-of-sale scenarios. For more advanced projects, APIs and customization options support integration with existing systems, external devices, and specialized workflows. Accessibility is an increasingly important part of public-facing technology, and SiteKiosk supports inclusive deployments with touch-friendly interfaces and compatibility with assistive input devices. This makes it a strong fit for projects where usability, barrier-free access, and reliable operation are essential. SiteKiosk is used by organizations across retail, government, education, healthcare, hospitality, libraries, transport, museums, and enterprise environments. Whether the goal is to lock down a single kiosk, manage a fleet of self-service terminals, or roll out interactive digital signage with centralized control, SiteKiosk provides the tools to protect devices, simplify operations, and deliver engaging user experiences.

Overall, my experience with SiteKiosk has been positive. It provides good control over kiosk devices, screen displays, and user access. Once configured, it is reliable and easy to manage, although some advanced settings can take time to learn.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

What I like most about SiteKiosk is the level of control it provides over kiosk devices and the user experience. It is fairly easy to set up and manage, and the kiosk mode helps keep users focused on the intended content. The screen display and update options are also convenient for maintaining a consistent experience across devices.

#### Cons

The biggest downside is that some of the more advanced settings can take time to learn, especially when managing multiple devices. Updates and configuration changes could also be more streamlined, and occasional troubleshooting can require extra time.

Overall, I am very happy with SiteKiosk. I've even recommended them to a provider in town. They had referred me to a different product a couple years ago, but it couldn't do what I needed.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

I have used a few other products for my window touch screen, but nothing did exactly what I needed. I needed a kiosk mode that I could control and customize. After a little direction, I was able to figure out the back-end and make it do what I wanted it to do. Customer Support has been very helpful! I've been talking with [sensitive content hidden], and he is very good about giving hints and tips and sending example templates. I have what I need at a fraction of the cost of the previous products I've used.

#### Cons

I wish I could have a second device to test with instead of sending it to my window screen and testing it outside. It's the middle of winter right now and it's annoying running back and forth from my desk. The preview mode can't show webpages so it doesn't let me test everything.

#### Reasons for choosing SiteKiosk

We talked to developers to make us something, but it would cost too much and we knew there had to be something already created. I tried to just put a computer in kiosk mode and lock it down to show basic information, but it was too much work on my end, didn't have any support or remote access. We went with a product that had support, remote access, and already built to do what I needed.

#### Reasons for switching to SiteKiosk

Image Surge went out of business after Covid, and Arreya was meant to be a donor board. It couldn't do what I wanted to, support was very slow to respond, and price was way too high for something we couldn't even get to work.

My overall experience with SiteKiosk has been consistently positive across many years and many different hardware generations. The platform has always delivered the core qualities you want in kiosk software: stability, security, and predictable behavior. Devices stay locked down, sessions run smoothly, and the system performs exactly as configured. What truly sets SiteKiosk apart, though, is its customer support. Their team is the reason the product stands out. Whenever an issue arises — especially around browser limitations or specialized web‑application requirements — support is quick to diagnose the root cause and provide a solution we can actually implement. They don’t just acknowledge the problem; they follow through with updates, fixes, or configuration guidance that keeps deployments running without interruption. Over time, this reliability and responsiveness have made SiteKiosk a trusted part of our environment. Even as technology changes, the combination of stable software and excellent support has kept the experience consistently strong.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Over more than twenty years of using SiteKiosk across many different deployments, the software has proven consistently secure, stable, and dependable. Even as hardware has changed over time, SiteKiosk has remained a reliable foundation: devices stay locked down, kiosk sessions run without interruption, and the system behaves exactly as configured. The device management tools make remote oversight straightforward, and kiosk mode is robust and predictable. Logging is excellent — clear, detailed, and extremely helpful for auditing or troubleshooting. Version compatibility has also been smooth over the years, with upgrades rarely causing disruption. From a value‑for‑money standpoint, SiteKiosk delivers long‑term reliability that far exceeds its cost. Ease of use is strong for both administrators and end users, and customer support has consistently been responsive and helpful. Screen display options are flexible and professional, keeping kiosks visually clean and consistent. Overall, SiteKiosk has been a secure, stable, and trustworthy platform throughout decades of evolving hardware — a rare level of reliability in kiosk software.

#### Cons

The only recurring limitation I’ve experienced is that the built‑in browser doesn’t always support every advanced feature required by some modern web‑based applications. Certain newer UI components or specialized integrations may not behave exactly as they do in a full desktop browser, which can occasionally require adjustments or workarounds. That said, customer support has consistently been excellent in diagnosing these browser‑related issues. They respond quickly, identify the root cause, and provide updates or fixes that keep deployments running smoothly. Their willingness to troubleshoot and improve the product has made these limitations far easier to manage.

Overall, my experience with SiteKiosk has been very positive. Our kiosk projects are fairly simple, so I have not had the opportunity to explore all of the platform's features, but the properties I use have been reliable and easy to manage. What I appreciate most is the quality of their customer support. Whenever I reach out for assistance, I receive a prompt response, usually within 24 hours, and the team is always friendly, professional, and helpful. Their support has been a key factor in our success with the product.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 4/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

SiteKiosk is easy to use and navigate, even for new users. The platform offers plenty of documentation, tutorials, and support resources that make configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration straightforward.

#### Cons

Automatic Saving of Changes - The platform previously included a Save button when creating or modifying a Project, giving users greater control over when changes were committed. While the new automatic save functionality can improve efficiency, it also increases the risk of unintended changes being saved. There is currently no easy way to discard or revert edits made since the last save, which can be frustrating when testing updates or making changes in error. Limited IFRAME Support in Preview Mode- The Preview feature does not appear to properly render webpages embedded within an IFRAME. As a result, it is difficult to accurately validate and test IFRAME-based content before deployment, reducing the effectiveness of the preview experience.

### SiteKiosk - Easy, satisfying, and worth it!

SiteKiosk has been easy to use and delivers great content development. If you appreciate almost immediate satisfaction with your projects, this tool can deliver. I would recommend Sitekiosk as the first solution to consider for any kiosk or signage project.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

SiteKiosk is extremely easy to use. From first logging into the online tool to publishing the first kiosk experience was literally a couple of hours, most of that time just experimenting with different controls. The interface is intuitive and screen layout is simple. When I have had questions the customer support has been super. In my experience, other companies have taken days to weeks before replying to my questions, SiteKiosk has replied within a day (if not within a couple of hours). And the actual cost delivers great value for the money. Other companies have wanted several hundred dollars a month per kiosk, SiteKiosk delivers the same or better experience for much, much less.

#### Cons

SiteKiosk abstracts the names of uploaded files/scripts. This makes it difficult at times to track which version of the file has been updated (for example). We have done some fairly advanced scripting as well, that can be difficult to get into the right context - for example scripts that run as a result of an action don't always have contextual access to some of the SiteKiosk data structures that a script that runs at initialization may have. To overcome this we have had to put functions in our initial startup script that are not really used during startup but need to have the context available for actions. This is probably not an issue that most users will encounter.
