Overall I think, McAfee Security has lot of potential when it comes to security.

At the current market place McAfee Security become very competitive. They have improve their faster loading software and now rewarded by customer in comparison to Norton

Very difficult to uninstall, once you haver a paid service. They try to get the customer back with app and email system.

My overall experience is excellent. Honestly I never think about security because I know the software is working properly and updating regularly.

Don't be fooled, there are cheaper option out there, but you get what you pay for. McAfee is always evolving to keep up with hackers who consistently find new ways to steal your sensitive information and send emails that look very convincing while being loaded with viruses. After the pandemic hit, my office sent employees home to work. in the end many of us continued to work from home for convenience. This software is not on both my work laptop as well las my personal desktop. McAfee will keep you safe from opening a harmful email, protect personal information from hackers and prevent you from being locked out of your email account if a hacker has gained access to your personal or work email. Potential spam will be sent to junk folder where you will have a Notification of potential spam. If you do recognize the sender you can still access the email. I was not surprised at the quality of this software because McAfee has a great reputation and is a leader in computer security. the software updates regularly so you are never paying for outdated software.

On occasion you may find that a non-threatening email may be wrongfully identified. I have had this happen a couple of times. A small inconvenience considering the high level of security being offered. As I mentioned you can still open emails marked as spam if you recognize the sender and once added to your contacts they will go directly to inbox in the future.

For some people this program may be just the thing for them. It is easy to use and simple to run.

It blocks threats that could case a virus. it blocks malware and spamming emails. Given my job i need to keep my email safe. I cannot afford harmful emails to get through. I had an incident a few years ago where I was locked out of my own email because a hacker had gotten through. I was never able to gain entrance again despite reaching ut to the email host. I lost important and private emails with sensitive information.

I have not had any issues so far. There may have been a couple of times that it sent emails to my junk folder that were actually safe but I check that folder regularly to make sure that hasn't happened. It is a mild inconvenience for safety.

currently there are no cons. I found that once contacts were added to my address book they stopped being listed as spam. This was more a user error.

Some emails were marked as spam or malicious when they were not and I missed these emails which were important for my business, delaying my response. it was very challenging to uninstall when switching to another protection software.

I forgot to renew and I felt they were very pushy in terms of reminding me. Too many reminders sent repeatedly before I had a chance to take care of it. Some non-threatening messages were filtered as malicious causing a delay in my response.

This software has a clash with multiple pther softwares upon my systems and has a tendency of causing the computers to crash completely wiping the drive. I definitely wouldnt recommend.

The software was free with internet service provider.

It was easily hacked. I kept getting emails that my subscription had expired - when it was not. The email went on to read that I needed to pay in order to be protected. I ended up cancelling because I could not tell if it was legitimate or not.

McAfee has improved a lot. It has got lighter which I appreciate very much. Security for email is another useful software. The best part is it has a option to set customizable protection rules.

The only thing that can be mentioned negative is sometimes it puts normal emails is spam list which is very normal for a software like this and I don't have that much problem with that.
