Pros/Cons
Pros
- It gave our small team a great jumpstart on a new IIOT system that was key in us winning a national innovation award.
- Very good support when you have a question. Works solid and codebase works also as great exemplar code.
- I have even recommended to our development partner that they should look to implement ASP.NET Zero for more of their clients because of how good a platform it is.
Cons
- Upgrading to a next (major) version can be a pain.
- Even Loading 20 projects in Visual Studio is a pain. Wont suggest it for a small project.
- We found working with the Metronic themes the most problematic, but that is relative since nothing was really terribly difficult.
Pros
- It’s a great program that helps organizations stay on top of project completions or important customer interactions.
- It's intuitive and easy to use while being very robust and comprehensive. Perfect for distributing work across teams and keeping track of progress and issues.
- There are nice features that integrate across the ecosystem, like opsgenie, also the charts seem useful, having multiple metrics about the project progress.
Cons
- The problem is that with the passage of time I have been getting more things that I dislike and the initials do not stop bothering me, they could even bother me more at a certain point.
- Some of the breakdowns of what issue the problems fall under aren't specific enough, and there are character limits for some of the requests when they should be able to leave more detail.
- Its configuration is a little confusing. As for use, in the beginning user is somewhat lost due to many fields and features of the tool.
