Pros/Cons
Pros
- Ease of configuration management across multiple environments. Added features are pretty useful like downtime scheduler, integrations & pipelines.
- Buildpiper is a good tool. We got a very good support for it whenever it is required.
- Over experience is very good in terms of use, easy to manage Kubernetes environment as well as CICD.it supports ARM & AMD both.
Cons
- Costly, we make search some another competitor tools which is less costly.
- Different colors could be added for warnings and errors.
- Deployment Error Log Dashboard should be more descriptive.
Pros
- There are a lot of good options for configuring meaningful alerts, and lots of good presentations of data.
- On the website all the information is one click away and you can generate very useful reports, and always be on top of your app. Their customer service is also very fast and pricing is great.
- Has a great integration with our software stack (python + django)so setup is easy and it captures a great amount of debugging information out of the box.
Cons
- I think it is weird to click on the error timestamp to go to the traceback, but I don't know if there is another way. Also, website does not work well on mobile devices.
- Navigating to the correct application and environment is so bad it makes me sad every time I have to use it. It became even worse after the ‘redesign.
- Working with large amounts of instances of the same error or warning can get very frustrating because of the limitations of RQL.
