Pros
- I recommend you check it out -- see if it's your style and if so, buy them some coffee -- they really do a great job and I applaud them for being so dedicated over the years.
- It was a best experience with eclipse as its versatile operation helps to work with all popular language like c, c++, python, and Java.
- I loved the fact that most of the tools to do any Java-based or even pyton-based development are free in this IDE. It gives a good introduction to new developers especially in the startup context.
Cons
- Missing few features which are available in Intellij. Sometimes it takes more time to load and requires reboots.
- The fact that you can get Eclipse IDE without a monthly subscription makes the lack of shortcuts seem like a frivolous complaint.
- Unfortunate eclipse has slowly been getting heavier and heavier and has become as overweight as netbeans.
Pros
- With a wealth of features that make it a popular option for many users, Jupyter Notebook is an effective tool for data science, research, and education.
- Multiple modes to save the notebook hence good for demos purposes, training, and storing in a repository for reference at a later date. Open source - good community support.
- Additionally, there are many resources and extensions accessible thanks to the vibrant Jupyter Notebook community.
Cons
- The UI is very basic and few a times the kernal stops responding and have to interrupt and restart kernal.
- I dislike that it starts up in your browser instead of as an app.
- Furthermore, with the Jupyter notebook, we plotted scientific plots to extract insights from the data and next built a model to predict disruptions in the business processes.
