This will leave a bad impression on our side projects if potential users were to find out about it after it’s been inactive for sometime.

It's great that it supports so many different languages, and the knowledge base and step-by-step tutorials are outstanding.

I'm impressed how easy it is to deploy and manage apps in Heroku. There are so many plugins to do pretty much anything you can think of, from databases, to caching, to monitoring, to auto-scaling.

This group refused to use phone, so the limited accessbility was only with email, when they would always pickle us back and forth to differing departments, not finding any solutions for us.

Wonderful developer / DevOps experience. In ~6 years of using the service we've hardly seen any issues attributable to Heroku itself (rather to AWS which they buiding their service on top of).

The best part of HEROKU is that we can link GIT repository to it and we can deploy or software very easily with quick commands.

Its API's first world is hugely helpful in developing applications. Documentation and customer support is top notch.

I use Notepad as my Integrated development environment for Python programming and it makes my programming easier. It helps in code completion too.

It is a free and open source, has a great number of available features, easy to edit code and support plug-ins OT be integrated.

The ability for the tags to stay intact and recognize colors/comments in the code is great. For log searching, this is invaluable.

I sometimes get lost when I open a lot of files/tabs and he opens a small arrow to manipulate the tabs. But I think it could be more flashy.

There is no preview pane, it is only available for microsoft, and it has been unstable at times. It did not offer all of the features I needed.

I am a big fan of Notepad++, this software has made my life easy. This is the best IDE that I have used which has wide range of plugins to support variety of work.

I missed that unable to collaborate with team and sometime missed features of IDE.

I like it because it is easy to use. This is especially important for those who are web designers.

I installed a few and I was satisfied with them. Luckily, there is a helpful community that created many plugins.

Notepad++ is not an IDE so while it can recognize different languages there are no error detection features or code formatting out of the box.

The biggest complaint I have is the pop-ups for version updates that can be annoying at times.

Although I do not use all of it's features, I like the fact that it is so robust and polished.

The language strings are clearly defined (the colors are super nice), and the customizable ability of literally everything (including viewpoint) is easy to implement and toggle.

It does not give the IDE to run the code in some langianges and also it does not shows  the errors and the location of the errors.

Open source and community contributions are fantastic.

Notepad++ has been amazing while working on projects within Visual Studio. The ability to simply copy and code and maintain the formatting has been a lifesaver.

I guess this is the best part, the software is 100% free. Be sure to send a nice donation the developer's way, because they really deserve it.

If you are new to coding this is the best option. It is the best for continuing coding too.

My only complain is the search, you start to search but then the popup windows goes to a integrated search box, so you lost the focus.

The possibility of comparing programming codes, as well as the Notepad ++ history are fantastic. This, for those who work with development, is an indispensable help.

In addition, I used Notepad++ to edit codes written in Java and C. So,I love how it works and integrates with such coding-related works.

Have them all for any cost is great. For XML editing it is very useful because it also recognize the beginning and end of the labels and permits to expand or contract them.

It is super lightweight, and the product is also very extendable using plugins from its community of opensource contributors.
