Pros/Cons
Pros
- We are looking to reduce our hosting cost and BunnyShell will be the perfect solution while they are taking care of the servers, we are taking care of the WordPress websites.
- I love that there are different options for deploying depending on how you want to configure your server.
- Overall I'm happy with the Bunnyshell product and team. I hope they will add more features for WordPress users in future.
Cons
- They are still missing features compared to the competitor but, at the speed they are making changes, it will be not time that they will be equal or above.
- Confusing dashboard for a beginner - I thought that a web server was meant to deal with Wordpress installations, turns out that a VM (virtual machine) was the correct way to go.
- The Dashboard can be sluggish and the overall UI/UX could use a refresh.
Pros
- There are a lot of good options for configuring meaningful alerts, and lots of good presentations of data.
- On the website all the information is one click away and you can generate very useful reports, and always be on top of your app. Their customer service is also very fast and pricing is great.
- Has a great integration with our software stack (python + django)so setup is easy and it captures a great amount of debugging information out of the box.
Cons
- I think it is weird to click on the error timestamp to go to the traceback, but I don't know if there is another way. Also, website does not work well on mobile devices.
- Navigating to the correct application and environment is so bad it makes me sad every time I have to use it. It became even worse after the ‘redesign.
- Working with large amounts of instances of the same error or warning can get very frustrating because of the limitations of RQL.
